This Versailles telephone has me thinking/romanticising about Versailles outside Paris. The tone, ringer is delightful, speech very clear when listening, coupled with the features of turning off the ringer and lowering the volume underneath. This is a lovely old world style telephone compliments my traditional decor. I am so glad that I found this treasure on Wayfair as no one as no one else sells these unique items. Merci beaucoup!

Well made. I was expecting more of a brushed nickel color. it's a little darker but still very attractive. I dropped the (hand, ear & mouth) piece on my porcelain floor and was afraid I had broken it. There wasn't even a scratch or a crack. This phone far surpassed my expectations. The sound is always crystal clear. It is sturdy and practical. The cradle wiggle a bit; but I think it was made with a little play for whatever reason the designer had. In order not to pick up blowing sounds in the mouthpiece from breathing, it's best not to hold it where your mouth is in direct contact with it. Anyway, I love, it so far and if I don't update at a later time, it means it is still in perfect working order. Thank you, Wayfair.
