The kitchen redo hasn't started yet but I did open the box and look the sink over and I am very pleased with it.
Dented. First try the sink was bent and couldn’t be used. Returned and reordered. Noticed dent after installation. Whatever. Do better Kohler.
My thoughts on Kohler stainless steel sunk.
I had a stainless steel sink like this many years ago. Then when I had to move, I purchased a Swanstone sink and matching fawcett. It has been very nice but I didn't like that it often looked stained. I wanted a stainless double bowl with the left side bigger than the right like I had before. I looked at Kohler and talked with a salesgirl and she suggested I look and work with you.
First let me say,I am a Kohler fan. we have Kohler faucets and toilets throughout our house. This sink however is not up to their normal quality. Foremost on on my list, the straight edges all bowed up, next the flimsy hold down clips are too short for a 30mm counter top. after spending more for clips with longer screws, they wouldn't grip the underside of the counter, I had to back them with a piece of scrap wood. other than that, I like the deep basins, and overall appearance.
No longer a quality product
Less than 8 months into this sink it looks 10 times worse than the Kohler stainless steel sink installed in 2000. I have faithfully used Kohler stainless steel cleaner and when it does manage to remove the water spots, they reappear within minutes. Even the rubber-bottom baskets have scratched the bottom of the sink. So sad I already brought the old one to the dump.

This product came well packaged and in excellent condition when we opened it. Really liked the stainless brushed finish. We did have to return it, however, as we failed to consider the extra depth of the sink - a little too deep for our cabinet.
Check Your Faucet Dimensions with 4-Hole Option
Proportions for each bowl are generously sized and plenty deep - great sink with nice clean lines. My only recommendation to others considering this purchase - check the dimensions of the accessories you are installing in the (4) pre-drilled holes. I specified a tall arc faucet - the kind with the mixer controls at the bottom, on the side of the faucet base. I also specified an instant-hot water faucet with the same type of configuration. The side-oriented mixer / volume handle on these types of faucets can create a congested situation with the four pre-drilled hole locations. I had to put the faucets at opposite ends from each other (position 1 and position 4 respectively) to make it work. Thankfully the air switch for the disposal was very low profile and fit under the edge of the main faucet handle in the second hole, with a little overlap of the faucet handle above. Soap dispenser had to be in 3rd position - otherwise it would not all fit.
So Far So Good
Nice sink and grids. They are well made and appear they will stand the test of time. One thing I wasn't pleased with initially was that the grids are made upside down compared to typical sink grids - as if the feet are mounted on the wrong side. I checked photos of them online to make sure mine hadn't been manufactured wrong. This is apparently the way they are supposed to be. This makes an uneven surface as the center support ring and perimeter support are on top instead of the bottom. They also don't have bumpers around the perimeter to protect the sides of the sink. Dispite not having the bumpers around the edges I haven't had a problem with the grids scratching the sink. Perhaps this upside-down design helps with this. They fit nicely.

This sink is very nice looking one, the depth is fantastic and the noise reduction feature works awesome. However, it's bottom portion scratches so easily I couldn't believe it. Having it installed just for a week and with below normal use, is already showing 3 scratches. The sink I replaced, had 12 years old and don't showed so bad looking scratches.
Excellent quality
Perhaps some of the less expensive same quality sinks are just as good. Have to admit we went for the name brand due to a level of confidence in the name. Can attest that the sink is very quiet. Initially we scoffed at the little pads affixed to the various surfaces under the sink. But to our great surprise it is very quiet, more so than our old sink. The outside rim is very low profile and barely raised above the counter surface. Last observation is the surface of the rim is unusually rough when wiping it with a towel. Not as smooth to the touch. Hardly an issue though. We're pleased.

This sink is clearly not on the same inexpensive level as a 20 or 22-gauge standard stainless steel drop-in sink that you would put into a rental. It is thicker, quieter, and deeper, with more visually interesting and useful styling. This has a a nice-looking deep brushed stainless finish. But the pads designed to absorb sound reverberationswhile using this sink are a bit disappointing. I would have preferred to see much larger pads covering almost the entire bottom surface, painted over with the rubber-and-cellulose adhesive you see in other sinks that utilize noise-dampening technology. I don't think these will be quite as effective.

We used this sink to replace our old stainless sink, which there was not much wrong with, but it had a smaller bowl and larger bowl, and we never found that to be very useful. The small bowl was never used and the large bowl was too large, so I ended up using a dishpan most of the time. This replacement, though, is perfect for us -- two deep bowls. The stainless finish goes wonderfully with our new Moen faucet, it has all the holes I need for water filter, soap dispenser, and faucet. I like that this sink has noise deadening to soften the sound of the dishwasher emptying into the drain - something our old sink never had. I also feel the quality of the stainless steel is better and heavier. Very happy with the sink, and am sure it will stand up to years of use.
[Rewarded Review] Sink is absolutely beautiful.
Overall the sink is 9" deep which is two inches deeper the the sink it replaced. While doing the install I also opted to replace the faucet and garbage disposal. 18 gauge stainless steel is a very thick and string sink. You can mount on top or under counter. I opted for the top of counter install.
[Rewarded Review] Nice looking
The verse drop-in 33 inch 3-hole double bowl kitchen sink has nice deep sinks. I liked the smaller sink on the right side with all of the holes on that side also. I was going to install the sink and a new disposal and surprise my wife. She walked in and said no. She didn't like the different size of sinks or the location of the holes. I tried to talk her into letting me install the sink and try it for a few weeks and if she din't like it I would change it back. Again no. I don't understand. The Verse sink is a nice sink. Heavy gauge stainless steel. It has a sound-absorption technology that dampens the noise of the disposal and dish washing. I'm keeping the sink and it will be installed sometime, but for now she is the boss.
[Rewarded Review] Absolutely Beautiful Sink
I have always liked stainless steel kitchen sinks better than any of the older or newer materials for several good reasons. They are timeless, they really don’t go out of style, they can always match the faucets, and they won’t clash with whatever color of appliances are currently in vogue. They are tough and rugged. They won’t chip, won’t melt if you place a hot frying pan in them, won’t discolor or stain, and they clean easily.
[Rewarded Review] modern, stylish, clean lines, very functional
This sink was a replacement for an older, dated sink. The configuration was identical. As a result the installation was straight forward. The sink does not come with drains, so you will either have to transfer the old ones or buy new. I bought one new drain and transferred the garbage disposal. I also installed a new faucet, so the general idea was to remove the old sink/faucet as one assembly and transfer pieces to the new sink on the bench. I decided to put a bead of silicone under the edge of the sink. In order to do this I put the sink in place and traced a light pencil line around the sink. Once the entire assembly was ready to install, I put a bead of silicone just inside the pencil line and had another person help lower the entire assembly into place. Then I tightened the four corner clips from under the sink and removed the excess silicone. Then I tightened the remaining anchor clips, hooked up the drains and high pressure water lines and tested for leaks. It all went very smoothly, no surprises. I'm very happy with the look of this sink. I must say I am partial to double sinks with roughly a 60/40 split. This meets my requirements perfectly. The sink is very well constructed of heavy gauge stainless. I would certainly recommend this sink to others who are looking in this category.
[Rewarded Review] A Very NIce Replacement Sink
I ordered this sink to replace a 20 year old white porcelain coated cast iron kitchen sink in the house we are updating in order to sell it. I liked the design of this sink with the larger left hand bowl that looks like it can handle my biggest frying pans and cookie sheets. SInce we added all new stainless steel appliances from Home Depot this past Fall, a new stainless steel sink should complete the upgrades.
[Rewarded Review] SUPER GOOD LOOKING
Be VERY CAREFUL with the underside of rim edges. They are very, VERY sharp.
