Instructions lacking

Nice well designed item. I would suggest more detailed instructions. There was no mention of the lightbulb. It was missing in our shipment and as a result I thought it was depressed in the housing. This added a week before we could see results. Customer service was good.

We have had the lamp/ pole installed and it looks marvelous! However, it has not lit up once! We have darker days and limited sunshine right now. We are still disappointed in the results though, it has been up and outside for 2 weeks! The toggle switch for the on/off bright/dim switch seems to be to far pushed in. We are thinking of returning the top part of the lamp.

Classy look and illuminates my garden nicely

I wished this was a available in white, but it wasn't. I painted it and it looks great.. The lamp post is a nice height. 6-1/2 ft. The competition was 5-1/2 to 6 ft which is too short. I mounted it to a 12" dia concrete pier. The supplied bolts were useless. I bought 5/16" concrete anchors at Home Depot and used a 1/2 hammer drill to make the 3 holes. Done in 10 minutes. Overall, I'm delighted with this purchase. Stays lits till about 3-4am. Don't hesitate to buy. Just wished this lamp post Victorian setup was available in white cause I need 2 more. See 3 pics.

Gama Sonic 94B233 Victorian 15"

I had my eye on this lamp for awhile hoping the price would go down and then I saw it on Overstock. This was very easy to install and has a nice glow at night. It is under a huge tree and haven't had any problems with the solar cell recharging. It did come with 2 mounts.

Great lamp light and goes all night

Easy install, nice light emitted, looks great. I live in FL and it gets plenty of sun which powers this all night. Great purchase.

Light Does Not Last the Night

This solar light is pretty much useless in the pacific northwest. In fall/winter we get more overcast days than clear, blue ones. On the overcast days it does not last the night and goes out in the early AM. It also doesn't seem to be sealed correctly and builds up condensation on the outer glass, which further dims the unit and has to be wiped off. Very disappointing, considering the marketing and price.

Great lamp for hard to wire places since it is solar. With the auger base simple installation. I need to cut some more limbs on tree overhead for longer duration of light at night (need to do it anyway). Even on the darkest days there has been illumination at least until 11PM

Great alternative if you don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars to have an electrician to wire your home just to install wall lanterns.

Victorian Bulb Solar Lamp Post

Arrived quickly after ordering. We put it in that day. But light has yet to work properly. When it didn t come on when it got dark we gave it a tap and it came on and stayed on. But not at all since then. We have called, spoke to a nice, understanding lady 3 days ago. No response from company since then. Light post looks nice, but we can t see it in the dark.
