Lovely—At First
I was quite thrilled to receive these coasters; they arrived in a timely fashion and were so charming out of the box. Unfortunately, my pleasure evaporated with use. . . If you buy this type of porous, stone coaster, do not get white. If you spill a little tea, or coffee, or ANYTHING, the stain is with you forever. The coasters look very nasty and unappealing now. I have others that are brightly colored and heavily patterned, and they have managed to age much better. . . Bottom line: If you never spill, go for these; otherwise, I suggest you avoid them.
