Super easy to assemble; we bought two sets (4 screens) and assembled them to surround a pool pump and air conditioning unit. Everything worked well - we did wait to install them in the dirt until after a major rain when the ground was soft. They have been in place a few weeks and look great so far - no leaning or movement. One person could easily assemble this by themselves - we used two and got all 4 together in about 45 minutes.

After constructing it, I was surprised that it was only two-sided. I think it would be more practical, in order to conceal whatever it is that needs to be concealed, to be at least three-sided. Otherwise, the looks of it is nice and the construction is solid

[Rewarded Review] Disappointing product, limited use cases

This is a review for the Nychbrands ENCLO Vienna WoodTek Cedar 'privacy screen' kit (EC18017). I received the product with intent of concealing a compost bin in the back of my yard. From the picture in the product description, it appeared that the product had 3 sides, but it is a 2 panel product. Now, I see at the very end of the description, it does indicate '(2 panel)'. This doesn't make sense to me, since there is going to almost always be 3 sides to conceal, unless you have no neighbors on one side, and don't mind that the object is most likely going to still visible in your view. Even with 3 sides, it would not work for something out in the center of a yard, like a septic tank or well access port, electrical box, etc. Best concealment scenario is that one side is up against a house, or in my case, a natural screen of shrubs/trees.

[Rewarded Review] Decent looking panels - super easy assembly.

This was very easy to put together. The documentation was very clear - pictures even drew out the nuances between some of the parts. As recommended, you should build this out on a flat surface. I used a plastic folding table and it worked wonders.

[Rewarded Review] OK for Just Blocking the View

This is a nice way to build a temporary permanent wall that blocks the view. It's sturdy but not like a real wall. I wanted this for a wind break, because we live out in the country where the wind blows hard all the time. This item is not sturdy enough for that. I found that putting up with some angle between the two pieces helps hold it up. Having slits between the panels helps to keep the wind from blowing it over. The posts are narrow but sturdy. The panels look like wood. It was easy to put together and hammer into the ground.

We are very happy with the finished product, despite a couple snags along the way. A couple of the screw holes wouldn’t line up, but they are self tapping metal screws and they were able to go through the metal anyway. The assembly was fairly quick, took my husband around 20 minutes. These seem very sturdy, we have no doubt that they will withstand weather and stand the test of time. I also wanted to add that these screens are not just for looks, but they will also shield our air conditioning unit from grass and other debris if my husband is mowing or if there is a storm!

[Rewarded Review] Almost perfect pre-fab kit

From the start it was great. The packaging was done very well, not a lot of hardware, all screws are the same which makes it so much easier. The 4 main posts have two different set-ups, right and left, wish those were labeled, just make sure to check where the slide notch and mounting holes are (will make sense when you see directions).

This is a great, easy to build and install solution for hiding our hot tub heater and pumps. The vinyl planks are cedar colored with a wood effect finish and unlike real wood, are virtually maintenance free and come with a 10 year warranty.

[Rewarded Review] Nice privacy screen but vinyl slats could look more like real wood

When we purchased our home one of the selling points was that it was very private. For fire safety, we needed to thin out a lot of foliage around the property, so our home is slightly less private. We have been trying a variety of different fencing and screen options to block some views and we thought we would give this Enclo Privacy Screens Vienna 4 ft. H x 3.3 ft. W Cedar Color WoodTek Vinyl Decorative Screen Panel (Includes 2-Panels) a try. This screen requires assembly, and the instructions say it will take about 90 minutes but I completed the assembly in about 30 minutes. I have a similar product that was much more difficult to assemble so I was very happy with the simple assembly of this one. My only complaint about the assembly is the screw holes on the bottom rail don’t quite line up so installing the screws was a bit difficult. After I had the screen assembled, I liked the way it looked but I would say the “wood grain” look of the vinyl slats is not very realistic looking. I also thought that the metal “spikes” to hold the screen in the ground were not very sturdy. This kit comes with two panels and they can be attached to each other but I have kept them separate. Overall, I would say this screen is a decent product but the appearance and strength could be a little better.

We were looking for some sort of panels to shield our split-ductless external unit from the late-afternoon sun. We wanted one that would not interfere with the fan exhaust, but most of the ones we had seen were not very attractive. This Enclo Vienna screen is a new model for them, and the cedar-color panels are so realistic that at first, I thought they were wood!

[Rewarded Review] Decent way to hide an eyesore

Love the concept of this product. I have been looking for options to block my AC unit, as well as some utility boxes in my front yard. This particular enclosure is 2 sided and does well up against my house and still exposes the back for easy access, but front and side is covered from street. The black metal posts seem sturdy. Overall the look is nice. I am not in love with the wood veneer slats that are covering hollow plastic timbers. Time will tell how it holds up. Overall looks great and serves a purpose.
