Love the spoons! Birthday present for my mom and these were exactly what she was looking for!
Nice quality but poor design for purpose
High quality as expected from Villeroy & Boch, but poor design for the intended function. These purpose-built spoons slide entirely into the soup fully submerged even when properly placed in the slot on the matching soup passion Asia bowl. Need to revise the spoon handle either to be longer or to have a deeper hook so it stays put when resting in the slot. Constantly fishing this spoon out of the bottom of the soup bowl is messy and annoying.

An easy shopping experience for a wedding gift using Bloomingdale's Wedding Registry. The description sounded very nice, but since it was shipped directly to the Bride & Groom I can't comment on how it looked. I'm certain they will get many years of use out of such a nice set of soup spoons. With the sales price it was such a great deal!
