Terrible Wallpaper

I've used 2 other brands of peel & stick wallpaper without any issues. I applied this paper to one wall in my bedroom. It was more difficult to apply than the other 2 brands I've used this past year. After only 3 weeks the paper started coming off the wall from the ceiling down. Now after several months it continues to come loose. I've tried everything to keep it up but have decided to take it down and buy a different brand. Definitely not recommended! Love the pattern but the paper is awful!

won't stay up in wintertime dry environment

The wallpaper was a pain to install but it looked great until strips started to detach at the top. It's wintertime and the furnace is running and the air is dry, and I'm assuming that's what the problem is. So keep this in mind if you live in the north or in a dry climate. It's going to defeat the purpose of peel-and-stick to use adhesive to keep the strips up so I'm not sure what I'm going to do unless I nail a molding around the top. My overall advice is to avoid peel-and-stick paper.

cute pattern but peel-and-stick paper is awful!

I have experience applying paste-the-wall paper which is super easy. I like this Cottontail Toile pattern but unfortunately it doesn't come as regular wallpaper so I ordered a roll of peel-and-stick to test it. I got only 2 full strips out of a roll (room has 8' walls with an 8" baseboard) and there is only enough left to maybe go over the tops of the windows or doors, if the pattern matches. So that was only about 27 sq ft of usable paper. And with only two strips up the room stinks like something weird so I have a window open when it's only 35 degrees out, I can't imagine how it's going to smell if I put more up. Also, peel-and-stick is way way way harder to apply than paste-the-wall paper, so if you have a choice and the paper doesn't need to be removed later then go with paste-the-wall. And finally the roll was rolled backward with the bottom of the pattern on the outside so I had to reroll it, and I was disgusted to find that the top of the roll was all creased and wrinkled. Not sure if I will fork over more $$$ for this paper to finish the room, but I can say I will never use peel-and-stick again. York, please offer your peel-and-stick papers as conventional paste-the-wall papers too. Please.

Love the pattern

The color and texture are great. Thick and smooth, even with some bumps in the drywall. Overall pretty easy to install, and the pattern matching was very easy to line up. I got the wicker color and it matches with our trim paint perfectly.
