Multi-Functional , More durable than fabric ..

These are great for many purposes. I hope drill holes in the bottom and use for large, movable planter-pots. The handle on each side makes them very portable even when heavy.

NYT Wirecutter Recommendation

Wirecutter recommended using these as a planter for your patio. I drilled holes in the bottom and added a layer of pebbles, mulch, potting soil, and fertilizer. My plants and flowers look great and are thriving. Much better looking than plastic pots.

Great size, look, & quality for outdoor parties!

Bought 3 to use as open coolers for a yard party. Filled each with ice & refreshments. Worked very well for what we needed. They are not advertised for use with liquid, but so far these have worked really well. Not insulated so there is outside condensation, but for our purposes this was not a problem. Would buy them again, and just might before our next party.

Excellent Quality and Attractive

The order arrived quickly and in great condition despite the minimal packaging. The product itself is excellent quality, thick metal....thicker than other brands I have purchased in the past. True to the photos. Very satisfied with the brand and have purchased other products, buckets etc..., from this company. Always sturdy, quality and attractive design and material for what it is...a tub. We use these for store displays to looks matter. Doesn't have that greasy residue that may galvanized containers have.

plant pots!

These were perfect for outdoor pots. After drilling drainage holes and using a cold galvanizing spray to prevent rust, I used them for my more aggressive herbs. Great price for a galvanized container that holds so much.

Classic metal bushel

Great bushel basket. Took a little work to get the sticky residue off, left behind by the label, but otherwise great product. I use this to store my carving wood

Handy galvanized basket.

Handy, unique item from the old days. Useful for moving many types of debris or materiel. Galvanized so it will last and made in the USA. Only wish the local store carried them.

Bucket leaks when used for water

I bought this bucket to replace another similar bucket I used for water for the deer and wild turkeys because some crazy free roaming cows crushed my water bucket after they drank it dry! I give this bucket only one star because it leaks at the crimped edge at the bottom of the bucket. I thought the bucket would work because one of the reviews I read said they used it for water. I returned and exchanged the bucket for another without crimped edges.

Ice Chest

I purchased this steel utility basket to serve as an ice chest to hold cold drinks and ice. It served the purpose well. No leaks! Easy to dump ice using the intergrated handles.

Nice product, good price, bad packing

Nice product, but a terrible packing job. 2 baskets arrived with dents but still useable. One basket arrived so banged up it can't sit level on the deck making it useless to use as a planter. Warehouse needs work. I took pics but then got busy and did not contact Hardware & Tools to complain so I cant speak to what they might have done in response.

Coal furnace ash bucket replacement

Who knew! After measuring old ash bucket and doing some searching I found a Behrens 1 bushel to be a perfect size and fit for my coal furnace. No more worries about the bottom falling out!

Love these tubs!

I use these for doing laundry, they are the perfect size. I just love them! I can see me using them in the garden or most anything else I could think of. If they didn't leak I would give them 5 stars. I sealed the seams inside and out with silicon. Worked well.
