Multi-Functional , More durable than fabric ..
These are great for many purposes. I hope drill holes in the bottom and use for large, movable planter-pots. The handle on each side makes them very portable even when heavy.
NYT Wirecutter Recommendation
Wirecutter recommended using these as a planter for your patio. I drilled holes in the bottom and added a layer of pebbles, mulch, potting soil, and fertilizer. My plants and flowers look great and are thriving. Much better looking than plastic pots.
Great size, look, & quality for outdoor parties!
Bought 3 to use as open coolers for a yard party. Filled each with ice & refreshments. Worked very well for what we needed. They are not advertised for use with liquid, but so far these have worked really well. Not insulated so there is outside condensation, but for our purposes this was not a problem. Would buy them again, and just might before our next party.

The order arrived quickly and in great condition despite the minimal packaging. The product itself is excellent quality, thick metal....thicker than other brands I have purchased in the past. These were perfect for outdoor pots. After drilling drainage holes and using a cold galvanizing spray to prevent rust, I used them for my more aggressive herbs. Great price for a galvanized container that holds so much.
