These modern farm-style chairs are well-made, sturdy, and beautiful. They are fairly similar to the colors shown in the pictures (although to me the top was lighter than I expected. It is more like a white oak but consistent from chair to chair and with the table). Nonetheless, I love the look of this set. It matches my decor perfectly and provides a relaxed Farm-style look with a touch of modern. These where fairly easy and straightforward to assemble: .It took me about 35-45 minutes per chair to put these together by hand. I did not want to damage/scratch the frame with power tools that were not deep enough to easily get to the screws that hold the chair seat in place. .You will need a long '3-4 inch phillips screw-driver drill bit' to clear the chair frame. Typical drill bit holder extensions will not fit in the deep skinny holes where the screws go. .You will also need Allen drill bits to install the chair legs and seat frame, but I recommend starting by hand screwing the bolts to prevent stripping the threads. I noticed that the bolts might feel a bit hard to hand screw if not aligned properly. .Make sure to align the top of the front legs flush with the frame top. If the chair is not leveled, loosen the bolts a bit, adjust up/down as needed and tighten again. I only had 1 of 8 chairs that needed adjustment. .Lastly, make sure the seat is centered on the frame when you are installing it. Also make sure to have a protected surface where you can place the seat (upside down) during install, as the wood is fairly hard and you will need to put significant pressure on the screws to avoid ending with gaps between the seat and the frame. See pictures for details on the Toolmarks mentioned by others. They do not take away from the look and are not prominent, but they are there indeed! These look so gorgeous! You will be certainly happy with the quality and workmanship! I would certainly recommend these!

These chairs are so well made!! The assembly was very easy and the parts went together very well. They are sturdy, heavy and beautiful. I would highly recommend.

I was very happy with the quality of these chairs for the price. They were a perfect replacement for our mid-matched farmhouse table setting.

Modern farmhouse chairs

As with most people, I was very weary of ordering online! I ordered 6 chairs for my son's dining room. He made the table and I decided these chairs would look great. The chairs are heavier than my husband and I thought. They were easy to put together. Adjusting the legs took a little work. Luckily, we have a rug beneath the table which helped out.

We purchased these as extra chairs for the Lindsey Farm Grey 6-piece trestle table set. Easy to put together. The color is great and quality is amazing for the price.

Solid and high quality.

These are the high quality chairs that I hoped they would be. Solid and beautiful, just as they are portrayed in the pics. All the drilled holes aligned perfectly, making the quality hardware a pleasure to use/install. So happy with these!! Seems they were made w pride.

Great Quality Sturdy Chairs

Needed to add more grey and less oak color to my dining room without buying an entirely new dining set. These worked perfectly! Solid sturdy chairs. Assembly required. Use a power drill.
