Not What I Expected

The rug looks very different in person. The color has heavy blue tones and is not a neutral gray. The rug is also not soft and hard on the feet. I wanted to like this but sadly it was a bomb!

I really liked the color and style of this rug. It’s a nice braided leather. It was too dark for our space and just blended in with our slate tile floor but it really looks like a nice rug! I wish we had another spot for it. It stayed put and felt nice underfoot.

I love this rug! I bought a runner for my kitchen in the beige. I liked it so much I bought another one to sit in front of my sink. But this is not for EVERYONE! If you have children, if you don’t remove your shoes or have high traffic consider before purchasing. It is not a “get dirt/toss in the washer”. It is an elegant 100% woven pastel leather pieces. It needs to be “spot” cleaned and carefully vacuumed. I use the furniture brush attachment so as not to damage the leather. For me I live alone and cautious about damaging my things. I would buy the huge one for my living room if it was more comfortable to lay on! If you have an area with low traffic this is the rug. The leather will outlive me! For a rustic cabin-perfect. It could even be a beautiful decorative piece on a wall. It would add light interesting effect. Easily attached. BUT PADDING A MUST! I bought the 3/4”. The leather strips are woven so this is not a “flat” rug. There is texture. I have taken picture of my runner and the smaller. I think the smaller is showing a touch more blue but I don’t notice it. Look at the variety of colors! Grey, beige, blue-gray, faintest of green, tans, browns, pale yellow. PROFESSIONALLY CLEANING recommended when spot cleaning won’t work. I only made the photos so you could compare what is posted by Overstock and what I received. IDENTICAL. Leather... everyone knows lasts longer that any other fabric. Not for where kids would enjoy picking at the leather, spilling drinks, or eating pizza.. 🙂

This rug is PERFECT! Exactly as described. If I had to 're order I would do an even bigger size. I also got the matching runner rugs. The runners had a slight fringe in the ends which I wish this rug had as well. For the price I would reccomend this to anyone. Interested in how it will hold up but seems very high quality and great coloring for being described as "rustic gray". Highly reccomend.
