These are water resistant

I tried to dry one dish and finally gave up. The towel was just smearing the water around on the plate. I just now tested the extent of water resistance - finger splashed a towel and 32 minutes later the water was still beaded up on it.

Very nostalgic, but practical too.

I love these dishtowels. They really do remind me of my grandmother's kitchen and they are very good. Oversized, much more drying power, nice and thick... Well worth the money I paid and very attractive too.

GREAT TOWELS

These are the type of dish towels I remember growing up on the farm... When I received them it was like receiving a piece of the past... These are great, lint free kitchen towels made for drying dishes.. I will also be using them as potholders, hot pads for serving dishes and many other uses around the kitchen.... And you can bet I'll be adding more of these in the future....
