Please note: This duvet cover is not really white, more of a winter white... Pretty obvious next to the new white sheets. That said, I still love it. It washed up nicely, fits my duvet and looks great on the bed. I opted for the king size for our queen size bed to achieve a look similar to the product photo. A queen size would not come down far enough to hide the box spring. Something to consider depending on your mattress thickness.

What a beautiful duvet cover. You can also use it as a bedspread if you don't want the heaviness of a comforter. It washed and dried beautifully, although it did full the lint filter in my dyer within about 30 minutes of drying. I am only giving 4 stars because it is the exact precise size with barely any room for overhang on each size. If you want something a little more dramatic with overhang, go for the king. I purchased a queen size for a queen bed and it could easily be at least 6 more inches on each side :( Other than that, I was pleased.

I love my new chenille trimmed duvet cover! The colors are rich, neutral and easy to style with my choice of colors. I tumbled it on low in dryer when it first arrived to get out “the fuzz”. It really packed my dryer vent, so beware and watch it carefully so as not to ruin dryer..but I think it will be fine from here on. Size was perfect for my queen bed.

High end Duvet

Simple yet elegant duvet that can easily be switched up with different colored accessories without spending an arm and leg. Very soft and so easy to wash and holds up very well. I have washed this probably 10 times and still looks like I just bought it. Definitely would recommend

It really deserves zero stars. Do not purchase this comforter. It is not worth the money at all. It is made with cheap fabric and other synthetic materials that are not comfortable. It sheds fuzzy material horribly and the other material is rough and scratchy. When I sent the comforter back, I was only given $*, even though I actually paid $*. It was never used. It would not fit in the original package once it was unwrapped, so I also had to buy a different box to send it back. I also had to pay shipping to return it. I wouldn't have even kept it for my cat because of the material floating off of it. This is about the worst product I have ever bought on line. I would love to know why I didn't receive a full refund.

Disappointing purchase.

As I always do before using,I ran it through the washer and dryer. The wet material was so heavy that it did not dry with one cycle. In addition, there was so much of the decorative material that the lint basket was both times totally filled. Unfortunately, how could I reject the purchase after I washed it. I would not recommend this item to anyone.

LOVELY SET

Lovely tranquil shabby chic bedding look. Nice soft quality cotton chenille tufting, flat base like a thick cotton linen , stitching on edges is good. No loose stitching. Fits on my pillow top queen bed as expected. Placed on bed right out of the zippered bag it came in with minimal wrinkles. Im sensitive to odors....Upon opening bag there is Literally no odor whatsoever which Iam very happy about. Cannot comment on how it washes yet, but being that it is 100% cotton I would wash it in cold water to minimalize shrinkage & not over dry it. Lovely set. I like it.

I absolutely love this comforter set. It is great quality and I don’t like anything too heavy even in the winter months. It is very light but also keeps you very warm. It is perfect. I am going to purchase the other color soon.

duvet cover?

this is not a duvet cover, there is no way to slide your down comforter into it, no opening. upon removing from packaging the fabric was yellowed with a chemical odor. I figured before returning it I would wash it. it did come out bright white after washing with no odor. I had to place it on top of my comforter like a bed spread. if I didn’t get it on sale at a good price I would have returned it. it’s okay for the summer.

Two years later...

Writing this review after owning this duvet 2 years. I would absolutely purchase again! It is on my king bed and fits the same as day one. (I bought the king/cal king off white) I wash weekly in hot water with bleach I like the hotel clean and I have a dog that loves to jump on my bed with dirty paws at times, and a cat that thinks it belongs to him. This duvet has held up amazingly. Has all the buttons still, all the inside ties for my comforter to stay put and not move inside. One of my favorite overstock purchases yet. I had to write a review as I just made my bed with my freshly bleached duvet and I am really impressed with the quality and longevity of it. I would buy it again but I don't need to!

So much white lint!

This duvet shed an unbelievable amount of lint!!! I washed it 2x and decided to return it bc there’s no way I could even put it on my bed and not be covered in white lint. There was lint allll over my laundry room and myself. I’ve attached a pic of my dryer lint trap, this was mid-dryer cycle. I already emptied lint trap 1x after 20 mins, and this was upon the 2nd empty! Unbelievable!!! Do not buy.

I read all of the reviews about the significant shedding of chenille from this style . And I pondered as to whether it would be worth the money & time . Or , the hassle of having to send it back . I decided to take a chance . ☺️ I am so excited I did . She is a beauty . I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !! The taupe color is timeless . And it's quite warm . I would absolutely buy this duvet set again ........ and again .

Was hoping for a modern take on my nana’s chenille bedspreads and this did not disappoint. Arrived earlier that estimated and was well packaged. I washed the set immediately as reviews spoke of offshedding. It washed beautifully and shedding was eliminated after the first wash. The duvet is a heavy muslin ( more ecru than pure white) and the pile is pure white. Washed beautifully. I bought the full/queen and it is a very generous queen...much larger than any queen duvet I have ever purchased, but not so large as to cover my bed skirt. The button closure is better than I hoped for (I prefer zipper closure),the buttons are close together and do not gap as button closure tends to do.

So happy I chose this duvet!

This duvet is the perfect mix between classy and boho. The style is subtle and I really enjoy the small designs throughout my bedding. It adds a great dimension to my room. I would describe the duvet as being white with a slight hint of ivory. For reference, my sheets are stark white, and the blanket on the foot of the bed is cream. It is comfortable, and I almost feel like I’m sleeping with a weighted blanket! The material feels quality, and the texture seems like something that will hold up well in the long run. I’m so impressed and happy with this duvet! Overall satisfied.

Oh, how pretty!!

Other reviewers have said how thin the fabric is and it's true that the fabric is not very thick, but from all of the chenille spreads I've seen, that how they all seem to be. They may have been thicker back in the 1950's, but I really don't remember--I was a small child then. Looks great on my bed. The seem to wash well. There was a little shrinkage, but not much. I bought a King size for a Queen bed because my mattress and box spring are very thick and sit very high on the bed frame. I wanted to be sure that if the duvet shrunk very much, I would still have enough overhang to go at least below the box spring.

Beautiful duvet. It does not look like the picture, however. In the picture, there is some contrast between the “fluffy” part and the flatter part and it makes the duvet look like a beige and white color. In person it is all a solid white color. It still looks great but if you’re looking for the pattern to show up more, I suggest getting something else. Also, if you suffer from allergies DO NOT GET THIS. It sheds A LOT. I don’t suffer from seasonal allergies but every morning since getting the duvet, I wake up with congestion and a little bit of shortness of breath. I see the fuzz all over my furniture, and it even gets on my hair (even though I don’t use the pillow covers or the duvet to sleep). My hairbrush is FILLED with the fuzzy white lint every time I brush my hair, and it is a pain to clean it.

Great material and classic look!

It looks exactly like it does in the pictures! So beautiful and I love the way it feels - huge upgrade from our last duvet cover. I had been eyeing this for a year before I purchased it and I wish I got it sooner! It makes me feel like we have a grown up bedroom now - so classy and so cozy. It's a true white and will go so great through out the seasons. Held up in my wash on gentle just fine; I've only washed it once so far. Highly recommend it if you're looking for one like this! The print is elegant and subtle. I like how it fits over our down comforter too, I don't have to jam it at the end to fit.

Great quality and beautiful.

I was hesitant about purchasing this based on some of the reviews. I got it yesterday and it is already on my bed. LOVE IT! This cover is gorgeous. Our room is pure white and gray, and the cover is not a true white. However, it still looks really good and seems to fit perfectly. I thought the color would bother me and almost did not even put it over my comforter. I am glad I did. Of course my chocolate lab needed to jump up and sleep on the brand new, white cover as well. I was certain I was going to wake up to hair sticking all over. There was nothing! Some of the reviews said the shams are too big or the cover is too thin. You need the proper size pillows (king if you order king size) to fit the sham and of course a comforter to insert into the duvet cover.
