Would not buy
The side screws do not anchor the 2 x4 into place. Poor engineering. I had use an extra angled screw to stabilize the top and bottom. I made a mistake by purchasing these.

Great Railing hangers
These are great railing hangers. They are a tad small for 2x4’s , but with a little shaving they work great and complete the look of the deck.

Not what they seem
These hangers do not fit standard 2x4 lumber. Most PT lumber is 1.5”. These hangers are 1 7/16” inside. I had trim my 2x4’s to make them fit. My fault though, the description does state that they fit Vista railings. I guess Vista railings aren’t 2x4’s. Maybe they can make a second size for standard lumber.
High Quality Brackets for impressive deck railings
These brackets allow you to hang your deck railings without have to toe screw through the railing rails and makes a nice finished look. If you are using pressure treated 2x4 railings with say black aluminum balusters these are the perfect bracket to attach your railings and get a strong, high quality finished look without splitting your wood out and leaving unsightly screw holes. These even come with black screws for a perfect finish.
The bracket appears to be as advertised. We are SO looking forward to receiving, at some unknown future date, the railings this bracket will attach to. Still waiting.
