The photo is very misleading. This planter is shorter and wider than the photo shows! I will be returning it.

Assumed from the description that the part in which the plant would be planted was 14" and turned out to be too small for the plant so we returned it.

I've owned a different DMC planter style for 2 years and it shows no sign of wear from sitting outside during 2 summers of Texas sun. The overall quality, including the frame, is outstanding.

Bought two of the 24" planters and my wife is very pleased with they style and look, just as advertised. She placed hanging baskets inside and were the perfect size for the inside frame but you can adjust the height with enclosed kit. The planters are light weight and easy to move around but becareful on high windy days if they are out in the open, may blow over. Ours are on the deck and haven't blown over, maybe because they are 24" tall. To be safe may put bricks inside at the base on the wire frame. The bottom is open so be aware of the surface you place your planter on. Our deck is Tex so no water marks.
