This water dispenser is nice. We owned a different vita pur dispenser for years and it finally wore out.so we wanted the same brand. This one seems to be as nice. Well worth the cost.

Very nice and easy to use.the door where to put the water bottle is hard to open.I dont know if they forgot to add something to fixe the door or is the door style but I dont like how it hard to open and you have to remove all instead off open to the side. A part of that everything is good..it has room temperature water, hot and cold water..the hot water is very hot ..can use for a tea or coffee ☕. Looks very cute..and

Arrived in excellent condition within a few days, easy to assemble and set up, works well. Pump makes some noise for a few seconds when it pulls water from the bottle (below) to the reservoir (above), but not a problem. Nearly silent when cooling unit is on. Panels are plastic but look good. A minor irritation is that the whole lower panel must be removed to empty spill tray, but the panel is held on by magnets and easy to remove. The lights are a nice touch at night.

Disappointed

The dispenser was difficult to get out of the box. The packing material surrounding it was so tight we were afraid we were going to damage the unit just trying to get it out of the box. Once out of the box, and set up, the unit is noisy and has a glowing, blue logo that is 1-5/8" x 3/4" that stays illuminated all the time, with apparently no way to turn it off. There is also another glowing blue light in the dispensing area that stays on all the time. The noise and lights may not bother all people but it's an issue for us. We've taped over the logo light, but can't find a way to dim or shut off the light in the dispensing area. Wish I'd known about the lights before we purchased the dispenser. I would not have bought it.

[Rewarded Review] A really nifty idea.

This hot/cold water cooler is just perfect for us. The water bottles just slide into the bottom as described. The machine will dispense hot water, if needed, and by timing the draw, it is possible to draw off a quantity that is not steaming.

[Rewarded Review] Vitapur stainless bottom-loading water cooler

Upon receipt of the cooler I began immediately to unpack and set up the unit. The unit was drop shipped to my home and the product packaging was within a corrugated shipping box (thus double packed). The best way to remove both the shipping and product packaging is to slit the bottom flaps on both shipping and product container boxes and remove the packing by slipping each box up from the floor thus leaving the cooler intact and upright.

[Rewarded Review] I’m a very happy customer

This is a great item. It’s very easy to use. My family loves it. I like having a choice between hot, cold, and room temperature water. The cold water is cold and the hot water gets very hot, but there Is a child safety switch. I’m happy about having hot water heated only when I need it. It takes just under 3 minutes to heat. It was very easy to set up. The 5 gallon water bottle I used easily slid into place. It’s very quiet. It has a nice blue light that lights up my kitchen at night. I had no problem understanding the instructions. I would highly recommend this product. I love the fact that’s this is an energy srar product.

Unit works well. Door shuts tight. Bottom loader is easy to load. BUT I had 5 gallon bottles from Home Hardware. Good thing it was a bottom loader we just sit the tube with large metal cap into jug, it is loose but works at drawing water up. No leaks anywhere. I paid $20.00 for the jugs (each for 3 ) and didn't want to put them in blue boxes. So am thankful I can use the 5 gallon bottles I have. I think Vitapur has their own. Rubber cap was bought but Home Hardware bottle opening too small to fit. It was to arrive Aug. 10, then Aug. 4 then email said Aug. 2nd . . . I ordered it online August 1, 2017, One day free delivery as it was over $75.00. The unit was not on sale but it was still lest expensive than local stores by about $40.00.

Numerous issues

I purchased this because I wanted a bottom-loading with 3 temperature choices (hot, cold, room) for water. None of the store models had these. I was not aware that you had to manually turn on the heating each time you wanted hot water, so this unit has no option to keep the water hot for on-demand use. Also the outlet spigot directs water slightly to the rear and causes you to hold a cup or glass up directly under it to make sure the water gets into the container; it would be better for the water to come straight down so you could set the container on the spill tray. Another issue is that in the manual, a cold temperature setting shows a knob on the rear of the unit which doesn't exist on this unit. Instead there is a recessed adjustment for a small flat head screwdriver. It is difficult to determine where the setting is currently since there is no knob like shown in the manual. To determine how it is set, you must rotate the adjustment in both directions to see where it was (full clockwise to full counter clockwise). Another annoyance is the excessive lighting from the name plate and other areas is sufficient to read by in a dark room.

I've had mine set up for 5 days now and I love it. The water is nice and cold when it comes out, we don't really use the hot water feature, but I did try it out just to make sure it worked and water came out TOO hot for me. I had been wanting one for a long time not, its so nice, quick and convenient to just go over and fill up my water bottle. Which is the reason why i chose this model is because its literally big enough for my 40oz water bottle, plus some. You could probably get a pitcher under there. The only thing i don't like, which isn't that big of a deal, is where the water comes out the hole is too far back so you have to hold your glass up or hold you water bottle back. Otherwise it will spill, but again not that big of a deal I wouldn't trade it in for anything else. The plastic on it does seem cheap, it did come as if it was a bit beat up, nothing major and again not sending it back. But just pointing out what I'm observing, because I did a lot of looking and reading reviews. Which do help a lot in choosing the right one. Now a lot of people say its noisy, but its not like its a car starting up or a motorcycle. a lot of people made it sound like it was horrible. You can hear it when its cooling or heating up the water, but it only lasts for a few minutes and then stops. WHAT doesn't make noise when its running lol

Works well for our needs

We purchased the VitaPur due to our physical challenges and changes made in water coolers from the water companies we contacted. We needed a bottom fill cooler since it was getting progressively more difficult to flip bottles. We were going to purchase this online from Amazon and saw mixed reviews. WalMart.com had it along with a reasonable extended warranty. It has been almost a year and we have been satisfied with our purchase despite the quirks which I will explain. We had always had top fill multi -coolers in the past. We also needed a tall fill area capable of refilling large water bottles or cups (a 1 liter bottle is in the photo). Most water companies have replaced their older model top-loading coolers with shorter fill area coolers. We needed a cooler with hot/room temp/cold water. There was a learning curve with this system since the water takes about 3 minutes to heat. eventually we purchased a $10 Hamilton Beach electric tea pot since we used more hot water than it made at one time. To dispense the hot water after you press the button and the indicator light goes on, you have to slide the red tab to left while pressing the button. I have nerve issues in my hands so I use a square eraser to push it over. The cooler is not super quiet when the pump is on but it is in a separate room so that is not an issue for us. We have not had an issue with water being cold enough unless you run the pre-chilled water. The single fill spout is in the center of the area so if you are used to 3 spigots (I put a sticky note on to show where it is). it may take retraining yourself to center the cup or bottle. The bottle slides into the cabinet behind the door. To make replacing the bottle easier we added a large, round, removeable furniture glider under the bottle so it just slides up the angled ramp into the cabinet. There may be better options now but when we purchased this it was the best option for the cost.

[Rewarded Review] Better than expected

This is a simple to use dispenser that works pretty well. It is plastic, although the picture makes it look like stainless steel, it's just painted. It still looks good though. Set up is easy, but the manufacturer does recommend an initial cleaning, as well as routine cleaning.

[Rewarded Review] Great Hot And Cold Water Dispenser

This water dispenser makes putting heavy water bottles on top of the unit obsolete. No more wrestling a full water bottle onto the top of a unit. Just open the door, remove the empty and slide a full one in. Love that, no more accidents when a full bottle of water hits the floor. And since the water is stored in the bottom of the unit there is no need to anchor it to a wall or cabinet.

[Rewarded Review] Great, Clean Looking Water Dispenser!!

This is a very high quality water dispenser. Being a bottom loading dispenser gives the item a very clean and refined look. The top loading water dispensers always seem to look like something you would see in the company break room. This cooler/ dispenser looks great in the kitchen area or pantry area. The dispenser uses both 3 or 5 gallon containers. The kettle feature offers hot water which takes a few minutes due to the energy saving mode. The water is dispensed extremely cold. This dispenser has a larger dispensing area for larger containers which is nice for water bottles and containers. Changing the water jugs is extremely easy & especially compared to models that the water containers are on top. I would strongly recommend this dispenser to anyone looking for a water cooler/ dispenser.

[Rewarded Review] Stylish Dispenser

This Vitapur bottom load water dispenser is much sleeker and more stylish than my old dispenser. The advantage of having the bottom load feature makes amazingly easy to load the water bottles, both the 3 & 5 gallon bottles. It has taken me a little time to get used to the energy saving feature for the hot water dispenser. It's a love/hate relationship because while saving energy, it takes a couple of minutes to get hot water from the dispenser. Now for the cold water side, the water is so cold that it dispenses just above freezing, which I love. The dispensing area is quite large which allows for big glasses, pots and pitchers to fit for easy dispensing. I would definitely recommend a bottom loading dispenser over the top loading unit any day because it hides the bottle and makes for a nice appliance in your kitchen or work space.

[Rewarded Review] great for a kid household

I have wanted a water dispenser for a while. With 2 small kids, a top loading dispenser was not a good idea, being it could tip over if they pulled on it. This is the perfect solution. It's very easy to load, just pop the plug on the jug and insert the wand. It accepts 3 and 5 gal water jugs.

[Rewarded Review] A+ Design and Function

In Addition to providing room temperature water from purified 2,3, and 5, gallon water containers it also heats and cools the water as well. This is a legit appliance that runs and manages itself. When water is low up top it pumps more out of the container below to have refrigerated water on tap or turns the heating elements off when you have run out of water so it does not burn itself out.

[Rewarded Review] Great Quality Water Dispenser

Vitapur really went all out on the design & quality of this water dispenser. It was easy to unpack, and very easy to install the water bottle at the bottom of the unit. No more heavy lifting and/or spilling. The guide that came with the unit was easy to understand when installing either a 3 gallon, or a 5 gallon bottle. The blue lights are very attractive, as is the entire unit. I am very happy that the dispenser is Energy Star compliant and does not stay "on" at all times. Very easy to use push buttons at the top, and large access area for taller jugs or pitchers. Love the overall quality, and well-built unit. The cold water was very refreshing and enjoyed by all.

[Rewarded Review] Nice looking and easy to use

Our city water is definitely not the best quality, and really taste bad if you ask me. I did not want my kids drinking it, so I got this and have to say that we love it. First off, it looks great as it has a nice modern look to it. The other one that we had was black with stainless front panels, this is not stainless, but is a light silver and black plastic. I actually preferred the stainless, but this still looks good.
