I wish it didn't take me so long to find this! Being a full time graduate student, I spend a lot of time at my desk. I've been searching for a set up that was more functional and would allow both me to have room for both my computer and textbooks without constantly juggling and moving things around. This is exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that the clamp to anchor it to the desk presented some challenges and wasn't compatible with either of the desks I've tried it with. It was easier to make adjustments so it would fit on the new desk I just got. But the desk I had prior had a backing (wasn't open like a table) and I didn't want to make permanent modifications to my desk which is one of the reasons why I picked this desk mount. I ended up having to cut a decent sized opening in the back of the desk in order to attach it. So something to consider. Otherwise, great buy for a reasonable price. It transformed my study environment and actually enjoy sitting at my desk now that its not a constant hassle to study there!

The adjustable desk mount is VERY study and heavy but it works.. Appears to be more for a workshop of some kind than an office.
