Low noise and super great quality with the wind power it gives. Used it all summer long and wasn’t too overstimulating. Would definitely recommend

I wanted to wait a little bit after my purchase so I can give the most honest opinion about the fan, read and watch reviews about it that were not so great, I have to replace my fan (which was bigger same brand but older) it was the heaviest part of the warm weather in California (LA) when I bought it, for 3 days in a row, day and night I left it on (2nd level) and worked great, then I turned of and started squeaking, was about to return it when I leave it working and the suddenly the sound went and since then has been working great. It is not an AC fan so don’t spect to be frozen…blows fresh air in a very narrow line, not broad fan but very accurate where you need it or direct it. Quiet enough to sleep. It is more a personal fan rather than a family fan.

Love the design and concept.

I absolutely love the design and concept. However, the Airbar 4 Vertical does not produce the air flow and or pressure I anticipated. Because I love one of their other products (medium pedestal) I expected the same affect. But, it depends on what you are looking for.

Beware - Noisy/cheap internal fan motor.

I bought this fan having high expectations based on the design, made in USA claim, and because I had heard of the Vornado brand. The fan puts out a lot of air despite having only 3 speed settings. But the motor is a cheap AC motor instead of the newer brushless DC motors found in other tower fans. The buzzing and rattle at lower speeds is unbearable and makes it difficult to use at night when trying to sleep. The design is great… but the execution leaves much to be desired.

Waste of money

I purchased one of these about a month ago and it's a huge disappointment. It doesn't really do much of anything to provide the cool airflow of a fan but the worst part is how loud it is. At first, it wasn't too bad but after using it a few times it started to make a loud churning/grinding sound when it's on. Now it makes it all the time. Won't be buying another Vornado product after this.

Quiet and cool

Great fan- love the multiple speeds, how quiet it is even on high speeds, and how it cools really well. I haven't tried it horizontally, but it is very easy to switch between vertical and horizontal. Sturdy and sleek.

Good product but needs a plan for implementation

I bought this item more or less on impulse at a retail store. It's an excellent product in terms of design and manufacture. The magnetic feet are especially brilliant. But I am not convinced that it really has a place in my home. I recommend any prospective purchaser carefully inspect its specifications and assess if they have a place to put it that will make sense and provide a return on the investment. This product has a specific footprint and a specific use case, and if you don't have a suitable place for it you might not enjoy it.

Looks great, started out good. A,week in, it developed a loud rattling noise, which competed with the TV! Totally annoying. Returned it.

good window fan

my window opens sideways. i got this to keep the window mostly closed and still get fresh air while i sleep. took a while to mount, and it's a bit noisy, but now i'm mostly happy. i have it bungeed to hooks on the window frame, sitting without the magic feet.

Does not move a lot of air

Also, does not oscillate. It is quieter than round fan.

I had been wanting to try a tower fan for awhile. So I was so excited when Influester and Vornado gave me the opportunity to try their air circulator and fan airbar 6. I haven't gone a day or night without since I got it. It helps keep me cool in this South Carolina heat. I have horrible sinus problems and since I got the air circulator I haven't woke up one single morning not being able to breathe out of my nose. I absolutely lovey my air circulator tower fan !!

This fan is so cool! I love that it can be horizontal or vertical. It is sleek and doesn’t make that much noise. It could easily sit on top of something like an entertainment system. Giving some really nice air. The amount of air coming out of the fan has a nice range as far as distance. I would definitely recommend this fan. I love that the removable pieces on the end of the fan are magnetic. So when you wanted to turn your fan from horizontal to vertical the pieces come off and on very easily, yet seem quite stable.

This product is FANtastic!!! My family had many fans from this brand and they all work great. I love this product because it has two ways that you can set it up (horizontal or vertical). It is VERY cooling and has a few different settings for air flow.

Great for the first week, then NOISE

For the first week the fan was great. I use in an office so quiet operation is very important. After the first week the fan developed a rattle that has steadly gotten worse. It's like a bearing is failing. I'm probably going to have to send it back and get something else.

Not what I anticipated

The Airbar 6 doesn’t “circulate” air adequately. I am trying to cool down 2 rooms at 300sq ft total (ceiling height is 9 ft) and to my disappointment, it fails. Couple that with a major delay in delivery because of the carrier, I would conclude I couldn’t recommend Vornado as a supplier or the Air Circulators.

all in all, this fan was pretty nice! i think the best feature was definitely the interchangeability; being able to lay it down horizontally, and standing up vertically - but the power of the fan was great too! the lowest setting was just enough, where you could get a nice breeze without getting cold, (which i cannot achieve with my ceiling fan), and the highest setting is amazing for cooling down on a hot day. I absolutely LOVE that i can barely hear it, even on the highest setting - noisy fans really bug me, even though some listen to white noise to calm down. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Didn’t even last a week

I can give up a lot of things to have a flat fan that points slightly down. The noise that came out of this thing after a week of use, no. Tried to crack it open to see what was rattling, couldn’t do it. And because I tried to open it to fix their mistake I bet any money there is no returning it. Waste of money! Don’t buy!

[Rewarded Review] Space saving and even air flow

In exchange for my honest opinion and review, I received this product for free from @Influenster and @Vornado. Living in Las Vegas, this product definitely comes in handy. And received just in time! It takes up very little space, gives a decent cool breeze, comes with a remote, quiet motor, and is a versatile vertical/horizontal fan. The only changes is make to it would be to enable a digital reader to know which settings are which, and to enable mobility or oscillating at least partially rather than just pointing in one stagnant direction.

Very disappointed

This fan is so disappointing. I’ve purchased a dozen or more fans from Vornado in the past and all have been great. This one just does not recirculate or blow any air. Waste of money!

I received the Airbar 6 Tower Fan and Horizontal Air Circulator with Remote from #influenster. The fan does a great job at moving the air and doesn’t make a lot of noise. The remote control is very handy.
