I also had same problem I unpacked the flatware case was very nice and just looking at it the felt was fine got rid of all packing but now I realize that the top part of the pace does not have slits in the fence to hold the knives in place I don't know what to do at this point

The chest is perfect for my needs. I don’t have a lot of silverware so the fact that this chest is a little more compact meets my needs. It is simple and elegant. Just what I wanted.

I gave up my china cabinet, with its drawer especially for silverware. So I needed a small place to store silverware. This filled the bill: it is slim, attractive, and stores 12 place settings of silver.

knives do not fit

If I had the opportunity to return it, but unfortunately I’m moving so I had to put all my silverware in there with nowhere to put my knives
