Love the large numbers.

I love this clock. I can see it no matter where I sit in my living room. I have trouble remembering the day and date, so this clock is great. Many of my frients have also purchased the same clock.

Customer service was great. The clock, you can't see what time it is at certain angles. Mine sets on a bedside table, you have to pick it up to see what time it is. If it's on the wall its fine. If I had know this I would not have purchased it. I would not recommend this clock for bedside use. Not happy with it.

No tech support

No tech support. I tried calling and left voice message. I tried email. I tried you tube. The instructions are inadequate. It does not give details on setting and disarming the alarm.

Disappointed, but I kept the clock

The atomic clock is attractive with its silver face and black casing, but the numbers and lettering are impossible to read if the clock is placed on the wall. The clock can be read if it is paced on a tabletop, I was intending to place it on the wall above my TV. The words were visible only as a series pf "eight" as we moved the clock in many directions. Disappointed, I still held onto the clock.

A great clock with easy read and showing date, day of week and of course the time. Not only powered by A/C but has battery back up via 2 AA batteries (not included). Also has 3 illumination settings to choose from. Best of all it timing is always correct via its Atomic clock capability. Liked it so much bought a 2nd one! Delivery was on estimated delivery date!

Perfect!

Love it! Bought one for my living room and I just had to order another one for my office! You can either hang on the wall or place on your desk! Functions with either batteries or comes with power cord! Perfect size as well! Did I mention it has backlighting too?! :)

Love Digital Wall Clock

For the most part I'm happy with digital clock. I like seeing what day of the week it is on top. Not happy about a back lit one means having to buy the corded one. Why not a minimal lighting on batter run one so can see it with the lights off. The day of the week could be bolder. My older one the time stood out the most but now need day of the week to be big/bold and the time too.

Nice clock, but…

Nice clock. The description makes you think that the back light is on permanently. This is not the case. You have to push a button down to turn the light on and it only stays on while the button is being pressed, which is not ideal when hanging it up above a door. I would have just bought the cheaper version had I known this.

This clock was right on time! My mom and dad sleep in rooms across from one another because of her Alzheimer's disease. I bought one for each of their rooms in different finishes. My dad loves the nightlight and big letters. I turn the nightlight off for my mom but the daytime illumination is awesome!!

Great for memory loss patients

I bought this for my mom. She is recovering from cancer treatments that left her with short term memory loss and she was getting frustrated that she couldn’t remember what the date or day of the week it was. The clock was super easy to program-I just put batteries in it and left it in a window overnight and it set itself-and the display is large and clear. Now my mom calls me everyday and tells me the date and day of the week! It is not only a great investment, it has made her feel a little more confident and hopeful.

Second clock for mom

This is the second clock I ordered. I bought mine about a year ago. I love it. My sister wanted to steal it. The information is printed large and the design is uncomplicated. It hasn't needed 2 new AA batteries yet. So I bought one for my 97 year old mom who lives in her own apartment in Florida. She is always confused as to the day or date and her old clock needs to be changed when daylight savings comes around. I don't want her climbing to change a clock, the wrong time annoys her and she is too impatient to ask for help from a neighbor. No family member lives close. The atomic clock changes automatically and always has the right time. So easy to set up too. Get one.

I bought 2 of these Atomic clocks, and I was very pleased with how easy it was to set them up. Their accuracy is amazing. And it is great to not have to reset them after every power failure, thanks to their battery backup. Their large characters make it possible to read them across most of the rooms in my house.

Hello fellow shoppers. I bought one of these clocks about 3 years ago. I now own 2 and have recently purchased 5 more for Christmas Gifts. These clocks are Perfect for me. They are Great for any age group. I find them very convenient for last minute, Time, and Date for busy Mom's, and or Great for any Office. Large print is very helpful for anyone who may have an eye condition. I recommend this Clock for anyone. I give this Clock 5 Stars*****

A compromise location.

This clock does everything as advertised. However the black numbers and words on a green gold background is hard to read at a distance. I tried several locations in two rooms, but the sunlight glare on the polished lens obscured everything. I did find a place for it in a shadowed area but it was a compromise. The other issue is it only comes in brown with black trim. I don't care for brown furnishings. A choice of colors would be better. It was delivered ahead of time.

Perfect for retired or those with dementia

I bought 2 of these for my 98 year old friend who deals with some degree of dementia. It's a large and attractive design and I have it set up as in the photo where the day of the week is not abbreviated (I think there are other options for how to have the display). It's a huge help, especially with the one I have in her bathroom where she takes her pills that I have set up in a day of the week container. In this way she is able to check the day before opening the matching one on the container. Before I put the one in her bathroom, she would possibly forget what day it was by the time she went in there and take the wrong pills. It's also a great help for anyone that is retired as without having a job, or other responsibility to have to go to, sometimes it's hard to keep track of the days. It's lightweight and can sit on a shelf or hang on a wall.

Don't trust web orders delivered to Walmart

In addition to a wristwatch that uses the WWVB time standard radio signal out of Bolder Colorado, I have two other La Crosse "Atomic" clocks (which actually use that same time source). I know how to set them up properly and I've grown to really enjoy them. It's satisfying every now and then to see them all flip to the next minute at exactly the same moment. Because a member of my family is developing serious memory problems, I recently bought this model to add to my collection because of its bold display that spells out the full day of the week. It was only available as an order from the Walmart web page, with free delivery to the store for pickup. When I brought it home I spent about a week trying to coax it into picking up the radio signal from Bolder, as they say in the instructions it may take a couple of days to set itself. It works fine as a normal clock, but does will not set itself from the time from the WWVB radio transmission time standard. I tried different locations in my house, pulling batteries and resetting manually. Even sitting overnight in the same location as one of my other La Crosse radio controlled clocks that receives the signal just fine did not achieve the automatic time set. It seems the unit I got was defective. I returned it to Walmart for a refund and ordered another one (same model) from Amazon. This is my second disappointing experience with products ordered from Walmart's web page for delivery to the store. I like La Crosse clocks and I believe this model will be perfect for me when I get one that isn't defective. It's Walmart trying to imitate Amazon by playing middle-man that I don't trust anymore. You place your order, they then find the item from some third-party vendor, buy it for you and have it delivered to their store. I fear they are not very careful in picking their sources. Its a gamble I'm not willing to take anymore.
