Cheaply made, hard to assemble

I’ve assembled a lot of flat-pack furniture, but this was one of the most difficult I’ve ever done. The directions are unclear and the hardware is insufficiently labeled. The myriad of screws come in plastic packs that have no labeling on them, leaving you to make your best guess. The feet of the unit do not have pre-drilled holes for the screws, meaning you have to measure their placement yourself (this is NOT typical of flatpack furniture). Even fully assembled it is rickety and poorly aligned. My standards are pretty low, and I’m very patient in assembling this sort of thing, and even I think it’s crap. Last but not least, the surfaces came out of the package scratched, and the process of assembly, even on carpet resulted in more scratches.

Not great quality

Love the look but it was very hard to put together. It said to put the back on first and the doors on second. I would suggest flipping that order as the piece was not sturdy without the back and if not lined up correctly the doors would not close. The back is what stabilized the whole item. Not a solidly planned item.

Tricky but do-able and nice when done

I’d read some pretty bad reviews for this shoe shelf- but mine came very well packaged and included all pieces in good condition. As stated, the legs are cheap brown plastic but I spray painted mine gold and it’s better. Also I took time to label the hardware before which helped. Hardest part was figuring out the drawer slides so I’ll include a couple pics of how the pieces fit in place. Overall it took a couple hours to assemble but it’s a piece I’m glad I bought.

Terrible to build

Wish I would have read reviews before I ordered. No predrill marks, IKEA furniture would have been easier to build.

Wrong choice

The cabinet was very difficult to build there were no notations on the bolts and screws so I had to guess. The legs are plastic and not sturdy and it wobbles. My family and I have hurt our fingers just to open the cabinets. I would not buy again.

Do not buy it

The quality of this cabinet is really bad. It came with some scratches and missing parts. I won’t not recommend it.

Do not recomment

If I could give it 0 stars I would. It’s very cheaply made. The directions are a pain, took 3 hours to assemble, then the doors and the drawer don’t align. The plastic pieces that you put in the holes instead of handles wouldn’t even fit. Then returning the item is a big headache. Do not buy this.

Pass

Dimensions don’t include the added height of the legs. Legs look cheap and came with a white blotch on the top panel. Decent overall look, but the instructions are awful. I didn’t expect high quality given the price, but I wouldn’t recommend.

Works well

Made of pretty cheap material but it is inexpensive and does the job. It fits well in my tiny apartment and holds plenty of shoes. Would buy again.

Terrible Instructions, Packing Material A Mess

The instructions for this are absolutely abysmal. The print quality and detail is terrible. I was able to assemble it successfully, but not without feeling like I had to decipher a secret code first. Once assembled, you find that the back side and drawer bottom are attached by nails, which you can easily misalign resulting in poking through the veneer of the wood, plus nails for the drawer bottom are not going to last if anything remotely heavy is put in the drawer. Also, the doors for the lower part have a huge gap in the middle, which is ugly. Additionally, you cannot change the handles on the door because they drilled a huge hole in the door and put a gromet there, similar to what you'd use on a desk. Worse, it's packaged with this very crumbly Styrofoam that static clings to everything and gets everywhere, so once you're done assembling, you'll need to clean your entire room and the cabinet. Oh, and I'll add, the feet have no alignment holes so you have to wing it and they're plastic which, when observed in real life, looks terrible. The feet should be bent metal bar.

Nice for the price but hard to put together

For the price, this is a great piece of furniture. Only issue was it took several hours to put together and there were a few holes that were not pre-drilled.

Awful quality. The legs were plastic. I immediately returned it. I love the style so I really wish it would have been better!

Pretty shoe storage

This cabinet works well. The construction is a little cheap, but overall I am happy with it. East to install. Looks good and most of all, you can’t see the 10 pair of shoes my kids leave at the door.

Good entry storage

It was perfect for our small entry way. The only problem I have is that it was chipped on the side and the back left top corner. It’s not noticeable unless you look closely so I didn’t return it.

Came scratched and poor quality

Came with scratches all over the different pieces. Also, walnut is just an adhesive sticker type thing. Very disappointed.
