Worst experience ever on a purchase

I received only arms for the amount I spent to purchase a 3 seater sofa

Solid, very firm seat, kind of easy assembly

About 1.5 hours to assemble by myself. (I'm a middle aged woman). Had to skip step 3B because of no pre-drilled holes on underside of seat bottom. I can manage a screwdriver, but not a power drill. Instructions are sketches that leave out steps, but I managed to follow along. Seat and back have minimal padding, so more like an upholstered bench feel to it. Tools needed: phillips head and flat screwdrivers, hammer, allen wrench (included), scissors and a bit of well-timed profanity to move assembly along. Color advertised as light grey, but it looks brown/grey with beige tones in the cross-hatch fabrication. Groovy old-timey decor vibe. I'm 5'5", and can lay down flat with no room to spare. I like the sparse, minimalist, wood legs/arms exposed look. I like this sofa. By the way, the throw cushions in the photo were added by me, and not included.

Design flaw

Requires 2 people to build but cracks and breaks the wood when u follow the instructions. The other mid century sofa are better

I don't usually write reviews but this might help someone. This is a surprisingly good product for a fair price. It looks pretty good in the room. The issue is the fabric: it does have that "fake" look next to all the real wood I have on other furniture, but I'm dressing it up/disguising it with pillows and I usually have a throw blanket over the back. It's sturdy. Narrow, but I was able to take a long nap on it. Note: I sleep on futons so those who like something really soft may not find it as conducive to napping! My other caveat: It goes together in an obvious but not easy way. I did it myself since there's no one else, and man! some parts of this require 8 arms to hold it all, especially getting started. The part they thought required two people didn't, later in the assembly, but getting the back attached to the cross bar required a boat maker's moaning chair, and a lot of pillows to position things when my arms weren't long enough. Also, screws towards the end are neither marked for location nor have a pilot hole, and this is soft metal; they strip easily. That said, for the price, I'd buy it again.

Nice size couch. Semi-comfortable but I wasn't expecting it to be lush. Very sturdy. Shipping banged it up but damage is not noticiable. Easy to clean too.

If you are considering it, here are a few points to keep in mind:Pros:• elegant design that references mid-century-modern styling.• tones are understated and easily adaptable to a range of settings and color palettes.• if you're relatively handy, its very easy to assemble. From un-boxing to finish, it took me about an hour. Directions recommend two people, but I did it on my own. No tools needed.• Super solid and well engineered. With normal wear, I can't imagine any of the structural components ever failing.Cons:• As with so many sofas in this price range, this one is just not so soft (I guess soft, comfy cushions must require additional expenses on the structural end of things, so manufacturers, just "go hard"?) . That said, its angles are well thought-out and it feels ergonomically smart. It's great for a quick break or for a short social hang-out. But I'm not likely to use it for nestling in for the evening to watch a movie, read a book, etc. As you can see from my photo, I added a couple of bolster pillows and that has helped tremendously.• Fabric is nice, but probably not the world's most durable. Less

Bianca Mid Modern Sofa

This sofa was delivered in multiple boxes, and all pieces arrived damaged! The damage is unfortunate because it is extremely large to exchange/return on my own.

Baxton Bianca sofa

This piece came slightly damaged but it was to the back so I kept it. Assembly was difficult and requires 2 people. Directions state to "push the seat harder before fixing the screws" but this only resulted in breaking the piece in 2 different places. Seems like a design flaw. I've emailed Homesquare but have had no reply so I guess I'm just out of $473.00. Never again!
