In summary both my bride and I liked the overall rustic design (except for a slight defect below) and I will say I was impressed by the overall build. It has nice natural-grain look. For the most part the finish is well done it goes well with our flooring. I took off a star because the headboard did have a few places where the stain ran (see pictures). The product description here says (a) it doesn’t need a box spring and includes so many slats that are either bolted or screwed down that it will support a mattress only but also increases the stability and strength of the overall frame; (b) it also says it all weighs 24lbs, the 1st box and shipping label says 84lbs, the second box says 30lbs so about 114lbs in total, that seems too high but much closer than the 24lbs. Very good easy to follow instructions made this rather easy to assemble, only needing an Allen wrench (included) and a Phillips head screwdriver, although I cheated and used a drill to speed it up. I was unfamiliar with Rubberwood so I looked it up; it’s a low-cost, light, tropical hardwood timber. In many aspects, it was comparable to teak. Without the blemish (surprised it got past a quality control ck) this gets a 5 star review.

Noble House Devonshire Grey Queen Bed Frame gives your room an instant upgrade in rustic style. Delivery and packing were excellent! It was very frustrating trying to put together without any instructions. The bed frame parts were labeled but it came with a large bag of hardware that was not labeled. It was very time consuming due to not having instructions, taking a couple of hours. We have put enough bed frames together to be patient and figure out. It comes with multiple wooden slats and center bar for substantial support. The wooden slat are a bit warped but should be fine once the mattress weighs them down. Once it was assembled, it looks very nice. It has a rustic look, made of rubberwood and ash veneer, made in Malaysia. This is the first platform bed we have owned and are pleased that No box springs are required since we are changing out our mattress.
