Purchased for a gift, I hope it will last them a long time. I appreciated that the mill is adjustable for coarser or finer grind. Has a cute engraving on the top to differentiate between the salt and pepper, as the grinder mechanism material is different. Metal for pepper and plastic for salt.

this Pepper grinder barley works, you have to turn it a hundreds of times to get just a sprinkle, the grinding gears are plastic, which I did not know,

More than worth the cost

I hesitated on spending this much on a pepper grinder, but finally listened to the reviews and gave this a try.

Should have bought first

I bought this to replace the OXO mill. This mill is far superior. The mill provides great grinds. I use the medium coarse grind for steaks and burgers and the very fine grind in soups and casseroles. I would highly recommend this mill.

Very Good Pepper Mill

The quality of this pepper mill is very good. It grinds the peppercorn excellently and may be adjusted from very fine to large pieces. My preference is to keep it very fine for taste. I deducted 1 star because the inside wood of the mill is a rather rough cut and should be smoothed out.

What a great pepper mill. Have had all types of mills including electric. This mill works so well and the adjustment actually works for the fine or course grade you're looking for. Plus it's made in the USA. No China junk here.

I’ve gone through countless pepper mills through the years and none have performed as well as this one. Whether it stands the test of time is yet to be determined. Coming up on a year of daily use and so far so good. The grind is truly adjustable. It’s a joy to use.

The real deal

This is a quality pepper mill. I may never need to buy a new one again. I love that the mill allows you to adjust the size of the pepper. I have used others in the past that were no where near this quality. It is built solid and put together well.
