Great bed!

Love this bed so much I purchased 2, in white! Vacation house fills up fast with guests, and this is the only trundle bed I could find that was queen sized on top and xl twin on bottom! Sleeps 3 adults if need be! Bedrooms are small so when guests leave, xl twin rolls under queen & disappears! No regrets!

Only write reviews sparingly, but I felt compelled. This bed is excellent quality, even better than the stuff at **** all the big names. If you don't mind the putting it together (which was very simple, maybe an hour with the trundle with 2 people tops), you will be getting WAY better quality than the big chains. Very impressed with this bed

Super disappointed. The headboard was not cut correctly, so we could not get the side bars to hook in at the platform height. Since we couldn't hook them at the platform height our twin bed wouldn't fit under the bed. So my husband had to disconnect the hooks and the slats and had to saw some both of the opening on the headboard side to get the hooks to latch. Needless to say it took us forever to put together and my husband had to fight it so much to go in, that the headboard got scratched up. I would expect much better quality at this price point and just so lucky ny husband is so handy, because others would have had to return the bed.

Trundle Dream Bed

This bed is FANTASTIC and worth every penny. I bought for my granddaughter and as an extra guest room bed for out of towners. It is very sturdy and the finish is high end, deep hued, rich and slightly glossy. The slats are thick and strong. The trundle rolls easily on a carpeted floor. I have yet to add the 10 inch twin mattress as it has not yet arrived. The same holds true for the 13 inch full mattress for the top. My daughter paid slightly more for a similar bed WITHOUT the trundle at a store that starts with "***". She and her husband do not have time to put together; however, she almost reconsidered when we told her it took 1.5 hrs to easily assemble. AND of course we would help her assemble if she changed and her mind and went with this item.

Very Nice & Sturdy Bed at a fraction of the cost

I was looking for a similar bed frame that I saw at a well-known retailer (store that starts with a P :). This bed is very nice and sturdy w/trundle and easy to assemble-so my hubby said. It took him about an 1.5hr by himself and that included opening the boxes. Note- it arrives in multiple boxes in separate days so you'll need to open all the boxes and get organized in order for a quick and smooth assembly. The only minor adjustment we have to make is that the twin mattress we saved for the trundle has a pillow top so it doesn't slide out easily. I ordered 2" bed risers in white (a set of 8 bc the center stabilizer will need to be lifted too). Hoping this will raise the bed just enough so the trundle is able to pull out easily. Otherwise , 10/10 would recommend..looks just like the ones you see at furniture retailers for more $.

The trundle is NOT full size!! Every description on the website says full bed with trundle, full bed with trundle, full bed, full bed. Nowhere does it note that the trundle is only a twin. So we purchased two full mattresses.. And couldn’t return them. Beware of that!

This bed is easy to assemble and sturdy. I was nervous at first when it came in 4 boxes but it took me and my 10 year old only about 3 hours to assemble. Like most of the diy furniture sold on overstock, you really have to pay close attention to details in the instruction photos or something simple can set you back. Shipping was fast. My only complaint is that most of it uses an Allen wrench to assemble. I wish companies would stop this and use regular screws. Your hands easily become blistered and sore with a frustrating Allen wrench! We love this bed!!

[Rewarded Review] I ordered two of these beds for my guest room--one...

I ordered two of these beds for my guest room--one with a trundle and one with the storage drawers. All components were in excellent condition and were easy to assemble. I ordered 10-inch mattresses, which are the perfect height when the rails are in the higher position. I appreciate the low footboard since I did not want any obstruction for my tall family's long legs. I do wish the headboard was taller so the furniture would appear a little more substantial. Lastly, I wish that there were plugs to cover the hardware on the side of the headboard so that the hardware was not visible. It's not a huge deal, but would be an improvement. No one has slept in them yet, but overall, I am very satisfied.

Pretty and functional piece

This was a perfect fit for my daughter's room. My nieces visit often and they all usually want to sleep together so this was a perfect solution. The bed came in 3 or 4 parts, but the boxes are not too big. My husband put it together in a few hours by himself. A twin mattress fits perfectly for the slider. I bought the same sheets in the full and twin size to match. It looks great! So far it's holding up well to some pretty active 8 and 9 year olds. A great feature is the plug in the headboard for charging, my daughter loves it.
