Beautiful finish. Smaller table that fits our dining area perfectly. Only negative is a raised area in the leaf on top where hardware is mounted on underside

Perfect for a small space

Very attractive, easy to assemble (really just need to attach the legs), great value. There is one design flaw (why I took away a star)... a small gap on one side of the table when the two ends are pushed together. The clip underneath the table which would hold that side closed (easy to access on the other side) is completely inaccesible due to the folded extension leaf being in the way. Disappointed in Safavieh designers but it's a lovely table for a small space anyway.

Lovely sturdy table!

Overall, I'm quite pleased with this table and think it's a great deal. If the top is veneer, it appears to be great quality, and the material is very heavy and sturdy feeling. The legs seem to be solid wood. I'd say the color is a wonderful slightly reddish-toned mahogany. The butterfly leaves work well so far and are level with the rest of the table top, and the mechanism works smoothly. Easily seats 4, and when open, I think 6 can fit, a little squished. My only quibble is that when I close the table, one side has a tiny gap; I can foresee crumbs and such falling into the mechanism sometimes. But the gap is small and I really don't mind, it doesn't take away from the look. I put this together myself in about 30 minutes and had no trouble. Recommend!

Arrived defective

The only thing to put together were the legs which we did carefully so that wasn't an issue. However, when we separated the panels and tried the extension and then carefully slid the panels back into place, one side attached without issues but the other side left a half an inch gap. keep in mind that the panels are connected by a mechanism so they slide back and forth together at the same time. No matter what we did that panel would not click in like it should. My husband had a theory but needed a tool and had to invest another $* for the tool and had to work on the mechanism until if was finally functioning properly. We didn't buy a new table to then have to work on it for it to function correctly. This was our first purchase with Overstock and it will be our last. They were charging us for the expense to send it back. Forget that!

Love it! The table is the perfect size for a small apartment and the extension is so easy to use. The quality is excellent.
