Great bulb, just make sure it fits

Looked for a replacement bulb for my desk lamp. This unit is a bit taller and a bit "fatter" than the original bulb. It fits in, but the glass protection of the bulb housing no longer fits. This was really meant to provide protection against the heat of the original bulb, and this one barely gets warm. So, no problem with respect to the glass.

Great looking light; just make sure it will fit in your fixtures.

It was bright for maybe a week then became super dim and not usable. Waste of money.

The light quality seems good and the output is as...

The light quality seems good and the output is as expected, however I am getting pulsing with a dimmer switch on low. I am using a Leviton LED plus dimmer and still having issues.

Great Product

Bought 6 of these to replace 75W halogen bulbs in ceiling fixture. I was very pleased with the result. They have a nice warm yellowish tint and are much brighter than the 40W equivalent rating suggests. No flicker which can be an issue with some low quality LED products. Only had them a few days but hopefully they have a long life. Excellent product and well worth the cost.

A welcome low wattage replacement for the old lights which got extremely hot. They are dimmable but for the lower brightness settings, I need to set to high first and then back off.

The bulb is the only one that works right in...

The bulb is the only one that works right in my new lamp... unfortunately, it is wider at the bottom than the top so it doesn't fit in the glass globe (broke one trying, had to get a new one) and the glass globe holds the shade. So I can't use it. I'm bummed because all the other bulbs I've tried (3 so far) fit the globe, but they don't turn off all the way (I call it my 'nightlight') or hum and burn out in 5 minutes. If you don't have too narrow of a space for the bulb, these are perfect in every way. I highly recommend!

DID not last long

I bought 2 of these on Sept 6 2020. It's been almost 3 months and one of them is light's out already. The Rated Life says 10000 hours. Not happy with it.

Received a used lightbulb...

I ordered two of these lightbulbs. They work fine and fit the lamps I ordered them for. However, one of the two lightbulbs arrived in an opened package and appeared to have been used. I was not happy to pay full price for a used lightbulb, but it was not worth the effort to return it (I don't have a local Lowes, so I would have had to mail it back or drive it to another city). I will not likely order online from Lowes again, based on this experience.

Great in theory but does not last

I have a 3 bulb vanity light (also purchased from Lowes) and bought 4 of these thinking that I would not need the spare for a really long time. 2 failed within a year and the 3rd failed (not sure if it was the one already in the fixture or the spare) within 6 months after that. The amount of light these provided were great but if I have to replace every year then there is no value to these.

No response to multiple emails

Asked for assistance with choosing the proper G9 bulb. Had to purchase twice and did not receive credit for the first order, only a automated response. No communication from Max Whse. Ended up costing me $100.

I bought this few weeks ago when I saw it on sale. When I install it, it seems the connector is not wide enough to make contact with the connector. However this was the chandelier problem. So it wrap a thin piece of wire around one connector using the wire from the wire twister. After that it works perfectly fine. Would have definitely go for a 60w equivalent if they are available.
