This item looks very nice in the picture. However, it looks more gray then taupe but that is not the case. It is definitely more taupe. Also, the instructions for assembly were very difficult to follow, there was not enough screws and washers and and certain holes were not drilled. It was a nightmare for us. We did eventually get it assembled but I don't think it's together well. When the seats are attached you drill a screw into the seat at an angle. The screw does not penetrate the seat enough to hold it in place. Therefore, it moves when sat on. This item is also made out of the country which was not mentioned at the time of ordering. I am very disappointed. We need more American made items with easier to read instructions. We have it in our kitchen but don't sit on it at the present time. I assume that it cannot be returned so perhaps Home Depot could arrange for a better assembly. Thank you.
