Nice desk

Everything is as expected for inexpensive desk. Expect a solid 3 hours to assemble. The file drawer was hard to install, had to squeeze the drawer rails together slightly get the drawer in which resulted stiff drawer. Shim the rails with washers now the drawer fits and moves as it should. The cable pass thru hole needs to be bigger. I run 3 monitors docking hub for my work laptop, this hole just isn't enough. Lastly the leg in the corner seems to be an after thought.... They could have done better but over all it's a pretty decent desk.

Use for home office. Love the style and fact it has all the features I needed. Looked at lots of desks before seeing this one. Well made compared to others. Lots of space and looks great

Exceeded expectations

The Sauder Carson Forge Washington Cherry Corner computer desk is is a functional and great looking desk that did not break the bank. I shopped around in person and on-line for a year before deciding. The color was perfect, it was pretty easy to assemble if you are not in a rush (directions were great, all the parts were included, and the holes were drilled perfectly throughout). I was nervous about the quality but it did not disappoint. It was a great addition to our home office.

A Great Desk Choice

I bought this desk for my work office. It has a really solid construction and is good quality. It was fairly easy to put together, except for the drawer slides which I initially put on backwards. It has a lot of storage room with the cabinet and drawers, and it looks great.

Beautiful! Love it! Sure it takes time to put together, but what would you expect? Lay it out, review instructions then let 'er rip! :) It's just what I expected! And ya know, you can't beat the customer service at Sauder!!! That earns an AAAAA+++++++++++! Nice to know and great to support companies that support their customers and stand behind their product! horrible

The keyboard tray fell off completely within the first month. The hardware fit was not correct from the start. Multiple attempts were made to reattach it with other hardware but it was too damaged. Nonetheless, i continued using the desk without the tray which has taken its toll on my back and neck. Now i am starting a new job which might end up with me having to buy a new desk. Also, the finish on this desk is very cheap and has worn off in multiple spots, making the desk look terrible with white spots everywhere. I do not recommend.

Nice desk

It took some time but overall it was simple to assemble. It went together well without issues. All parts were there and arrived with out any damage.

Great desk for a great price

Desk came is 2 very heavy boxes (it's all MDF fiber board), but was well protected and organized. Instructions were very easy to understand and assembly was easy enough, though it takes some hours to fully assemble. I put it together by myself by strategically locating the desktop portions nearest the walls I wanted the desk on. Very sturdy once it's fully assembled, and drawers & door work well. Dark Cherry is a beautiful color.

Missing parts and miscut pieces

I purchase this for a reception area. When we took it out of the box key drawer grommets were missing. In addition as it was being assembled, we discovered two pieces were not drilled correctly. All in all it was poorly packaged, poorly designed, and poor quality.

It's a computer desk used for that very purpose. It does the job, beyond that there were no expectations. The keyboard placement is a little sketchy, not sure where the best spot is for family use. In fairness, size and geometry are what they are and physical law can't be defeated.

Perfect for my needs!

Purchased this corner desk to replace the table I was using during covid lockdown. The desk was easy to assemble with the directions given and looks beautiful. I like the matching pieces to this set as I was able to find a dresser to complete the room.

Great desk for working from home full time

Started working from home full time and needed a good solid desk that will fit several monitors, a PC and a laptop...plus a pencil sharpener. It all works, it looks good and the price was perfect. I love it.

Great for home office.

Love my new desk. Put together fairly easily, I always expect a furniture piece to take a few hours. But all the pieces were labeled and the directions were clear. Looks great, and I love that it has a cabinet that I can hide my tower in. Makes the space look very clean.

Compared to other kit-form pieces of furniture I've assembled, this is a well made unit. I didn't have to re-drill any holes and all of the pre-drilled holes lined up. No missing pieces.

Great Product and Corresponding Instruction Booklet

Just finished assembling the desk. I have to admit it did take me a while to put together, mostly by myself. Total time was probably 8-10 hours, had I done it continually start to finish. Ive put many pieces of furniture together and I have to say, this product has by far the best instructions I've ever dealt with. I really liked the way all the screws, bolts, cams, etc. were in separate compartments and labeled properly, not like some assemblies where they are in bags with diagrams for each piece. HUGE help! And the instructions matched the parts and vice versa PERFECTLY. Thank you so much for a well designed product, great instructional booklet and a great looking desk, for a more than reasonable price! If/when I need another piece of furniture, I will definitely shop Sauder!

Great desk

This desk took a while for me to put together (4-5 hours total), but I was able to do it by myself. One reviewer said she has to lift up the top drawer to close the second drawer, but there is a way to adjust them once it's put together so they align correctly. It is sturdy and beautiful! Just what I was looking for. I have it looking out into the room, not in the corner and it works nicely. The back is finished so it doesn't have to be up against the wall. Great desk!

Flaky fake wood and broken plastic pile of rubbish

The instructions are a joke. You just about have to take every thing apart 5x and do it in a different order than the instructions. But the desk is a pile of rubbish before it's assembled. It has plastic pieces that are impossible to reuse, and the pressed wood just falls apart. Frankly, it's a death trap. Collapsed on me. Wish I never bought it.

A great size and easy build

I bought this two weeks ago, and am very happy with the purchase. It is a beautiful desk, and quite sturdy as well. It took me roughly 6 hours to put together (including drawers), but I was going slow because I'm a bit OCD. The instructions are easy to follow and well-written. I decided to put the drawers on the left side, and the instructions made it easy to make that transition. I would purchase Sauder products again, and highly recommend this desk.

Love my new desk

Love my new desk. Took roughly 3 hours to put together. Beautiful finish on the drawer side. Back sides of desk not finished as nicely. Works beautifully against our wall and windows. Purchased the Lateral File as well. Very happy with my purchase.
