Very well molded. Took paint well, packaging was bad and had been opened prior to pickup, one panel was cracked but repaired with some glue.

The representative Ekena from millwork was great.

wrong color

the color that was sent was not a white as it was almost an almond white and we had to get paint to match the existing shutters. Very Very unhappy with this...

Lifetime Vinyl Shutters - Raised Panel Shutters

These Lifetime Vinyl Shutters replaced my old Mid America Vinyl Shutters that were faded and the cost for 6 pairs was over $100 cheaper than the Mid American version. I would highly recommend these, same product and quality.

Replaced existing shutters in order to enhance the appearance of my house after installing wood grain garage doors. I purchased the sample, matched the color, and spoke with a representative to place my order. The cost of the sample was refunded and put toward the purchase of the shutters.

They warp easily in direct sunlight

I live in Tennessee and ordered 6 pairs of shutters to use under our covered porch and painted with Benjamin Moore Aura paint in medium gray. They all have warped less than a year later and Ekena Millwork said they have a warning on their website that says anything other than light paint colors voids the warranty. I do not recommend.

wrong color was delivered and now you won't exchange for correct color! Just found out color was wrong.

Easy install and looks great!

We were looking to replace our previous shutters because the paint was peeling. Getting these in green alleviated the need to have to strip and repaint our old ones. These are a great way to enhance the street appeal of a home at a great price.

Please note if you want white, you must order the bright white. I ordered the color in WHITE and they are an ivory.

Quick and easy.

It was very easy to find and order the shutters we needed for a customer's siding job. Without any express shipping, we still received the shutters very quickly, and the order was right. Great company. I was nervous the order would not be right and I would need to send them back for an exchange, which my guys would have had to waste time to go back to the job just to install the right ones. The order was right, and we were able to install them on another happy customer's home.

The item says “paintable” in the description. Still hesitant, I called and spoke with an employee to verify. They saw exactly what I did and confirmed: yes, this item should be paintable. The item I received was not from Ekena, but had 2 other brands stamped on it. The box specifically said that, unless a “paintable” option had been selected, the shutters would not take paint. Every color option by this brand has a different cost—the “paintable” option being on the more expensive end, which is why we just chose the black in the first place since we knew we would be painting anyways. All of this to say, our painter came and was unable to paint and hang our shutters because we had to reorder a different product. Don’t believe the specs and details listed—they’re clearly haphazardly copied and pasted.

Exceeded anticipation of product

Lighter weight than anticipated allowed for easier installation, yet the shutters are sturdy and the house updated. Shutters were painted, neighbors, passers-by and friends impressed.

The shutters are perfect, they were just as advertised, very easy to paint and install.
