Missing from box were two carpeted cross pieces and 4 casters. Only about half the hardware ( nuts for casters) were in the package. Box was obviously repaired with massive amounts of tape and i think it was before shipping since the box was not crushed, it was ripped open on the end..

First time I've bought my own, and compared to the ones I've rented or used on jobs these are disappointing. But they are adequate for my needs moving furniture at home, so I'm satisfied

Great price and durable, useful product!

Quick to assemble but recommend a rubber mallet because not all bolts line up perfectly (a tap with the mallet corrected it easily). They are heavy-duty sturdy and durable. Wheels move easily. Comes in a set of 2, which is useful. This was our 2nd time buying them because the 1st set was so useful for lots of things: moving heavy items, as added wheels to storage boxes and as a mobile base for a file cabinet. Friends and family like to borrow them, but we always make sure to get them back! Highly recommend for the size and price. Great, useful buy!

These were a little smaller than I anticipated. Should have ordered the next size up. They are well built and easy rolling. Because they are relatively small they tend to be a little unstable in the short axis.

Quality Control Issues on my Second Order

This is the second time I ordered this same item. I have purchase at least a dozen dollies before. I do not mind assembling the dollies, but I do insist they check the alignment before shipping them. They clearly need a little more work in the alignment. You need to bang them a little to get the casters to fit in order to tighten them. I think next time I will buy a dolly assembled for a couple dollars more and not have to hassle with the alignment and installation of the casters, for the few dollar savings. Size, weight handling, delivery to Home Depot, price, and pickup at Home Depot were fine so it gets a good review, just not an excellent review.

This was my first order of these. I have used dollies a lot for moving totes. I do not use very heavy items, but I need a dolly small enough so the totes do not fall though the center opening. The item came in a reasonable time period. I was able to pick them up at the Home Depot Customer Service Desk easily enough. The casters require installation which I hand tightened since there was no cheap wrench included, but it is reasonable to expect a person to have some tools to do this, so I can not penalize them for it. (I didn't want to use the wrong tool and ruin the nuts.) Works fine. I like the fact that all four casters rotate easily and are a decent size. The price is very good for a dolly like this, and the size though not solid, was close enough. (See my next review of the same item.)

IF I was able to get them assembled I would have said they’re a great purchase. However like similar reviews said they didn’t match the wheels to the holes properly so I had to return it before I could use it. Just if you buy this prepare to return or drill in the holes yourself. I didn’t have the capacity to make it work, but the for the price I’m sure someone will.

Does the job

The workmanship on the dollies were not perfect. There were dents on the soft wood and the bolts for the casters were not positioned correctly in of dolly. But once assembled they were easy to use and helped me move some furniture safely.

Overall: as expected. However, bolts for casters are misaligned. I used a step drill bit and enlarged all caster bolt holes by 3-steps, instead of pressing them on and damaging bolt threads. This may lower the maximum weight capability, but will work for me. Too small for corporate letter/legal fire safes.
