[Rewarded Review] So glad I purchased

This backdrop is a great size and a great material. I used to use a cloth/cotton/who-knows-what backdrop and the struggle with wrinkles and see-through was so time-consuming. This material is soft, wrinkle-free and there's plenty of it to be had.

Westcott makes great backdrops! Only thing that would make it better is if there was a pole pocket on the 10' edge, and not just on the 9' edge.

[Rewarded Review] Appears completely solid (surprisingly so!)

This fabric backdrop is deceptive in all the right ways. I have a much smaller space than the 9' width, so it's bunched at the edges of my bar, which means the fabric has waves and creases (not to mention the pre-existing fold marks). Plus the fabric is textured. I certainly expected these to show up, but to my delight every picture appears matte and flat and flawless. Ordered it in deep black as well. Definitely recommend.

[Rewarded Review] Wrinkle-resistant does not mean wrinkle-free

Not sure why we've had wrinkle-free pants for decades, but a truly wrinkle-free background is not possible? Black does better than the white version. The white one requires serious photoshop work for still images, and extra work in your NLE if using it for video.

Not wrinkle resistant at all

Nice white backdrop, but it's definitely not wrinkle resistant. You have to use a steamer each time you put it back on, which is time consuming and after few times doing it, the fabric isn't the same anymore which affect the final result of the picture.

We have many different backdrops, and just needed a new white one larger than what we already had. This one is nice quality, and I think it will hold up well for a long time. Stitching and overall build is really good.

Great for moble setups

I work for a fight promotions company that request high key images all the time. I'm never sure of the location until a couple of days out from the shoot, and this makes the job real easy. it's lightweight, portable and works . Just have spring clips ready to stretch out to remove the wrinkles. Good purchase for photogs on the move.

It's White!

This is a white background that has done very well for still photography. Easy to set up, easy to break down. Doesn't stay wrinkled.

There is a fleece side and a smooth side. I feel like they want you to use the fleece side. Its weird at first, but it looks great.

Surprised!

I must admit I was quite surprised at how great the Wescott backdrop was! I shoot on location a lot and the wrinkles with cotton backdrops and the difficulty transporting seamless paper was always an issue. The genius behind this background is that it stretches and any wrinkles can be easily removed by pulling it taught either with tape, clips or string. A must have location background!

I took this out of the bag and was shooting 30 mins later. No wrinkles looks great. So easy to work with. Pipe loop also.

Love this soft, cottony backdrop!

This backdrop was a great purchase! It's bright white and definitely wrinkle-free. Took it out of the bag right when we got to our event and not a wrinkle in sight. It got pretty dirty at the bottom since we used it for an outdoor event but it was super easy to clean; just popped it in the washer/dryer and it came out looking brand new. Great, soft, stretchy material. I would definitely buy more in different colors.

Easy to work with!

Just used this backdrop on a location interview. It was perfect and easy to use. The stretchy material made it easy to stretch out any sign of wrinkles and looked great on camera. I definitely will be buying more of these in other colors.
