After 1 month only 2 of 4 are working

I purchased similar light 4 years ago and that one is still working as it should. These all 4 were motion activated only first week, then started to light non-stop. Not what I wanted but I was OK since they were working. After 1 month 2 lights of 4 stopped working completely, the other 2 light for about 1.5-2 hours then are dark until morning. They are on direct sun all the time, must be fully charged, if battery would take the charge. Junk. Don't buy!

We appreciate the light being outside our poultry enclosures that we previously did not have. The only downside is that they are a bit inconsistent. But better now, than the situation of no light at all.

They worked for about a week

For as much as these cost it would be nice if they worked. They only worked for around a week and have not worked one time since. One of them in the pack never even worked at all!

Only Spanish instructions?

I have owned many similar solar motion lights, so despite seeing the instructions were only in Spanish, I reasoned ‘no problem.’ But there was a problem. On the bottom, there’s the on/off switch; there’s also a “LINK” button. I’ve learned since that the LINK button will link several of these lights together such that if one detects motion, all linked lights will turn on. While I don’t need this function, I can see where it would be very useful—and understandable instructions certainly should be included. That said, the individual solar motion lights work very well charging, detecting motion, and are bright. I cannot comment on how well the linking works.

Westinghouse LED solar wall packs

Had gotten my 1st set and had one that would not work at all and another that came on for like 30 seconds. Call cust service and they sent me a new box and now have six working units and are working great, found out when in link was not working very well but my fixtures are 40 to 60 feet apart so just leave the link set to off. And have been working outstanding for a week, stay on most of the night latest I have seen was at 4am were still on.

Well...so far

So far only 2 of the four solar motion lights are illuminating. They have been out soaking up very strong sun for the past two days. I’m really surprised that two are not lighting up. I would think this is ample time for all four of them to charge so I will continue to keep them outside charging. I am expecting very strong sun with no rain here in the east for the next couple of days. I haven’t decided their permanent location yet (the anchors and screws are supplied) which I’m really happy about right now as they are not functioning properly. Hopefully, all will light up and when permanently placed they will illuminate properly and give me many years of functionality and enjoyment. I do like that 2 of them are low light and when it detects motion they go really bright. The others have no trace of light whatsoever for the moment. This is a reputable company so I am expecting a great product. Perhaps a few more days will make the difference, but for right now I can only give it 2 stars but I do look forward to giving it a full 5 stars shortly. Fingers crossed.

SMALL LIGHT THAT PRODUCES A LOT OF LIGHT

Having a small footprint, 4 3/4" W X 3 3/4" H X 1 3/4" D, one might think this light would not provide much light. Guess again. Notice pic 3, low light is always on after dark. Now, look at pic 4, with a fully charged battery, which is a #14500 lithium 3.7 volts, 800 mAH that produces 600 lumens on high output mode. With a light on each side of the lanai, and approx 20 feet apart they provide plenty of light. The light stays on bright for 30 seconds, but then goes back to low light mode, so you are never completely in the dark. They are linkable so that when the first light detects motion and goes to full-on bright the linked light will also come on bright. The circuit board also monitors and regulates light output to maintain 8 hours of the potential light. Pic 6 is both shed lights on low output, pic 2 the left light is on low, while the right light is full-on bright. I would have liked a "Key Hole " attachment system which would make it easier/quicker to access the two controls on the back or someday the battery. The only other downfall with solar lights is finding a location that provides the longest/greatest amount of full sunlight to fully charge the battery. The upside is I have 4 lights where I wanted and they don't cost anything to run.

Nice bright lights

I was looking to install some lights on the front porch as our previous lighting was weak, the Westinghouse 5-Watt Equivalent Integrated LED Solar Motion Activated Wall-Pack Light (4-Pack), 600 Lumens was just what I wanted. These easy to install lights (2 screws each) are easy to mount onto many surfaces. The 600 Lumen lights are bright and unlike some lights, they shine to the side of the lights which is great to cover a larger lumination area.

Bright Lights

I have been using solar lights for years so when I picked the Westinghouse LED Solar Motion Activated Wall-Pack Light set I was excited to try them out. I read the directions on how to link them (one light is activated, and they all come on), but it was too confusing. One of the lights didn't work, so Home Depot contacted Westinghouse customer service and that was quickly taken care of. The lights come on in dark on dim mode and when they sense motion comes on very bright. They will stray on for about 30 seconds and go back to dim to save battery power and last all night.

Neat Features, very bright LEDS, some reliability issues. Instructions could be better.

I like to use solar landscape lights when I can. If you are using them in an area that is well illuminated with daylight sun, they work fine. You don’t have to mess with installing low voltage transformers and running wire.

A great edition to our back yard. It gives off a bright light and the solar power means no batteries which is a huge plus. Easy to setup and easy to maintain.
