It’s good. No gasket for mounting surface. Not steel, alloy which I think is better. Unless magnets don’t attract to steel anymore I’m positive it’s not steel. Glass lens seems to be plexiglass. Tapped lightly with screwdriver and definitely doesn’t sound like like glass, sounds like plastic. Does have good gasket for cage to body. Worth the price and up to 60watt led. I used 40 watt soft white and is perfect for my application. No regrets
