This is so well built and such good quality. It is heavy like old-school furniture but yet modern looking. It fits perfectly in my living room and doesn't take up too much space. Fits just the right amount of files and important documents for my 2 kids and me.

I purchased this piece to accompany the Carbon Loft Grimm Whiskey Finish 71-inch Distressed Executive Desk. It is the perfect size for my printer, extra paper storage and, as well, has a pull-out drawer able to hang both legal or standard size file folders. The craftsmanship and quality of this piece are spectacular. This is a QUALITY piece - not a DIY assembly project or MDF, laminate or "plastic-y". Comes well packaged and found NO defects. Having bought the extra cabinet allows me to place my printer on this piece, rather than on the surface of my desk. It is a perfect size for a Multi-Function Printer (fax, scanner, copier). Something to note is that this piece is NOT as deep as the desk. This means that you will not have a solid "rectangle" of furniture if you place the pieces side-by-side as I have done. I do not view this, at all, as being a detriment - merely an observation. Would DEFINITELY recommend!
