Not Heavy Duty

Nothing about this tent is heavy duty! The canopy is a very thin tarp that you can buy from the dollar store. The tent poles are very thin and flimsy. The legs do not have tabs to adjust the height of the tent, but it did have the holes for the tabs…..genius!

Poor quality, the whole ordeal is an insulting.

You shipped an old dirty ripped repackaged box, all parts were opened without the original bags %26 marked numbers, difficult to check on the parts and construck. A very low quality 10×20 carport. Whomever *packed this items *must be re-education. It's BAD for the *Cosway. An insulting to your customers. My advise this item on 10×20 tent/carport should never resold to anyone.

Garbage

What a piece of garbage. Not only were the instructions utterly useless, but the pieces to put it together were as strong as a very thin twig. We got it put together, staked in the ground, tied it down and it felt solid. Boy was I wrong. One gust of wind and two of the poles for the legs bent and that was it. No more tent. The pieces are cheap and the poorly produced. I seriously do not recommend this tent. It’s cheap for a reason because it will last less than a day before you throw it out.

It's okay

Had some minor damage to one of the poles that doesn't seem to affect assembly or performance. The corner connectors were dirty and scuffed. Looks like they are used (see photos). One of the four way connectors was poorly welded making it so the pole could not be inserted fully so that it locked in place (see photos). Another one of the poles wasn't fully powder coated. The spring push buttons that are supposed to lock the poles into the connectors were loose and of poor quality. They would slide out of place when depressed making assembly frustrating because I had to keep disassembling, adjusting, and reassembling. The shade cloth has a low quality feel to it. I was expecting it to be similar the material of my shade sail, but it is a bit different. Will have to wait and see how it performs. Aside from the issues above, it was easy to assemble. I was able to do it by myself in maybe an hour. Directions are terrible but it didn't matter because it's fairly self explanatory. I added heavier rope and stakes to tie it down. The supplied rope was very thin and not quite long enough. If it wasn't for the manufacturing defects, I would say it is reasonably worth the money

Flimsy but excellent customer support

Ordered this product for a parking shelter, based in part on positive customer reviews. I have to say I was disappointed in its overall quality. To begin, there are next to no instructions (guess they cost too much to write), only a single diagram to work from. Metal parts are light but seem sturdy enough. Cover is plastic, so we'll see how long that lasts during an Oregon winter. Got it assembled alone in a couple of hours. What's amazing is the lack of positive connectors between some of the metal parts. There are spring-snaps between poles and fittings, but connecting two short tubes into longer sections that frame the top relies on wobbly stamped twist-locks which barely hold together and like to come undone. The only thing that keeps the roof portion rigid is the stretched cover. The kicker to me is that the support poles merely slide into the roof fittings without any kind of positive lock! Much is made in the couple pages of literature you get about anchoring the support poles to the ground, but why bother? A good wind would lift the whole roof assembly off and kite it away. I found myself tapping the connections and installing sheet metal screws to insure this wouldn't happen. It's also amusing to read the disclaimers: It's just a "sunshade"; not to be used in winds, heavy rain or snow. In other words, take it down if you have any weather at all. It would cost too much to ship it back so I'll see how it goes and probably be getting a better one later on. I had a parking canopy years ago that lasted 10 years before I took it down and disposed of it -- big mistake. The only thing remaining is to see if the warranty (should it be needed) is as well supported by the company as is claimed in some of the other reviews. I would suggest to those who need a serious parking shelter for all seasons to avoid this product.

Great Value and Excellent Customer Service

I ordered this in late September 2019, and was immediately very glad I did. It is very sturdy and the tarp is really thick feeling. I have had it up now continuously since then, and it has handled the weather and the sun without any issues, until we had a very severe windstorm come, and my stakes holding it down failed. The wind caught it and pulled it up bending some of the tubes. The tarp part held up without any issues. I contacted the company and they sent me replacement parts at no charge and free shipping! I am going to use higher quality stakes now to hold it down. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the quality of this canopy and even more impressed with the excellent customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a quality canopy.

Good quality and easy assembly

I am very pleased with thus purchase. Very good quality and so easy to assemble and take down. I bought this product for camping purposes not to use year round. It served its purpose very well. We had strong winds at times with heavy rain and it held up great! The poles are strong, and the canopy was thicker than I expected. Highly recommend this product. Only thing to upgrade is the canopy to thicker material if using it year round.

Make sure the product descriptions specifies UV resistant

I was happy with this product for a year. And then a year and a week after purchase the tarp basically turned to dust. The frame was still good, but the tarp disintegrated. The warranty period had already expired, but I reached out to the seller, Brandline, anyway. They were awesome and had a replacement tarp on my doorstep within a week, free of charge. The replacement tarp was labeled as UV resistant, so here's hoping it lasts longer than the original. While I must wait to see how the replacement tarp weathers, the seller gets a six star rating for coming through no questions asked even after the warranty expired. Very Nice.

Easy set up, good customer service, buy you some heavy duty tent spikes

This tent is a great buy for the money. Easy to put up, can do it within a hour. Only cons I have is the canvas isn’t quite 20x10.....about four or five inches shorter than that on both lengths. Also the spikes that come with it to anchor the legs are under sized too. During a bad rain storm we got where it put 5 inches down in two days followed by a storm on day three with tornado warnings, the tent was blew over and damaged. I took some pictures, sent brandline an email with what replacement parts I needed and they shipped them to me no questions asked free of charge in three days. I was still under my 1 yr warranty, but I would suggest buying the 3 year warranty for 30 bucks and I also bought some heavy duty spikes for the legs. Overall for 200 bucks for product and extended warranty and excellent customer service from brandline.....I’m more than satisfied with the product and would recommend.

Awesome Customer Service

We've had this canopy for almost 2 years now and it has been a great addition to our backyard, gives alot of shade. The tarp lasted about a year and a half before it started getting a few small tears in it, which is really good for being in Florida, the sun and my neighbors Oak tree beat it up and it held up well. We did order another tarp from Quictent, kept it in the garage until the original finally ripped down the middle in a good Florida thunderstorm. Went to put the new tarp up but some of the bungees were really stretched out, so we decided to contact Quictent to order replacements, sent an email and a person named Green responded back quickly and replaced them at no cost. Thank you Green for doing a great job, we will definitely deal with Quictent in the future.

A GREAT purchase.

After almost three years of use and TWO march wind storms, I'm very pleased to report the vinyl held up. The company was very helpful in my request to replace some bent legs. The instructions clearly say not to use the product in high winds. This is 2021 and I hope to connect with the company and purchase some bent legs .... after Another March wind storm. I'd like to purchase 5 replacement legs. I highly recommend you purchase a carport from this company. The quality is excellent and the customer service is top notch.

Do not buy this item !!

I bought one and liked it so bought another one. They looked good in my yard and was so excited. The first one ripped within week. They sent me a replacement. Within 2 weeks the second one ripped. We are in Florida and the Irma Hurricane is coming. We unhooked 2 of the straps and the entire center ripped all the way across. Now I know that things dry rot in the sun but these are supposed to last for like years. They have a warranty but I do not think they will replace them again. I will not buy another one. I am going to buy 2 tarps at the store . They may be a little more sturdy than 2 months. I have recommended this to several people and now I wish I didn't. I will be contacting them to make sure they know mine fell apart already.

Do Not leave up during winter months in Northern Wisconsin !

I purchased this May 21, 2018 loved it so much I got a second one on August 6th, 2018. I also helped my Brother purchase one but that was taken down in a wind storm about a month after he had put it up. He did request a refund and it was granted. I have both my canopies up in my yard in Pepin, Wi. I religiously kept the snow off of it all winter accept for during an overnight blizzard Feb 23rd that brought us 16" of snow and ice. When I woke up in the morning to clear the snow off of my canopies I found them both collapsed. I am just wondering if the warranty will cover them. Brandline reply: Thank you for your kind contacting and so sorry for the problem mentioned. As it is said in the email, both items were damaged due to snow which is not under our warranty for you. So sorry for that. I know-my fault for leaving them up but I don't have a garage and I had them secured and did remove all snow prior to this one freak storm. :(

Worth the money

The business I work for bought 3 of these carports. We were very impressed with the craftsmanship and the ease of assembly. The instructions were simple and straightforward. They were just what we needed. The whole carport is very lightweight and easy to move around considering it’s size. The only thing is that you must weight it down. A pretty moderate wind can lift it and damage it which happened to us. Quictent happily replaced all the damaged parts for free with absolutely no hassle. Very happy!!

Solid and over-the-top service

I’ve been using this carport in a harsh desert environment annually for several years. In addition to being solidly manufactured and durable, it is easy to set up. Due to my own mistake, I recently bent a pole. I contacted customer service to buy another one, and was blown away when Rainy helped me secure a replacement at no cost, and out of warranty. I cannot promise the same outcome for everyone, but I can tell you if you’re looking for a quality product at a great price that is backed up by dedicated service people, then this will check those boxes. I’m really pleased!
