[Rewarded Review] USB outlets rule

I love having receptacles with USB ports already included! Makes life so much simpler. USB Receptacle Outlet White, 15A 30W with 2 Type C, 1 Type A USB Charger and Screwless Wallplate is a great. This newer style outlet also has a higher wattage out put to support faster charging! This receptacle outlet can replace and standard outlet to upgrade your home. It is easy to install. The screwless faceplate is interesting but difficult to separate from the internal plate. The only downside is that there is only 1 hot and 1 neutral screw. The internals on the outlet do cause this to have a large backing so may not work in shallow or congested receptacles. Being tamper resistant, it also great for houses with children.

[Rewarded Review] An option when space is tight.

As the world traditions from USB-A to USB-C and some phones no longer come with charging blocks, an in-wall charger may be your solution. The screw-less cover plate is a nice design but mine was missing the small screws to attach the cover plate to the receptacle, thank goodness for that jar of screws in the basement. The electrical connections were easy to make but getting everything to sit flush was the majority of the install time and I was never able to get it completely flush. The spacing between the plugs leaves very little clearance.

[Rewarded Review] USB-C plugs are convenient!

It’s so nice to not need to worry about finding a block to plug in your cords for charging your phone and other accessories. This receptacle has 2 usb-c ports as wells as 1 standard usb-a port. I thought the face plate may just snap on but it does have 2 screws that you can see and they are silver instead of color matching the plate. Installation is pretty basic. Just make sure you cut the power to the outlet. It only took a couple of minutes to replace our standard outlet with this one. We plan on placing more throughout the house.

[Rewarded Review] Great outlet

This outlet is great. My main criteria for whether or not I like an outlet is the fit and finish of the hardware and how it contours to the wall. As you can see from the pictures, this things sits perfectly flush. It has no flexed or bowed out corners. Obviously it sits out a little further than a standard outlet would, but that is to be expected with the additional USB charging options it provides. I am really happy with this outlet. Installation was a breeze and I trust that it will last for years to come.

[Rewarded Review] So convenient!

I have a couple of these outlets, and I love them! This is the first one I have which has two Type C receptacles. This outlet is perfect for next to a bed and I'm using this one in my guest room. My friends always comment on how nice it is to be able to plug in their phone next to the bed without needing a block plug. It's all about convenience these days and this product makes the grade! Easy to install without an electrician and has two standard outlets, 2 type C outlets and 1 USB outlet which all can be utilized at once. Love it!

[Rewarded Review] Works well, but won't fit boxes in older homes!

This receptacle outlet came with detailed instructions to aid in installation. I tried to install this outlet in 3 different locations in my 1950's home, and the receptacle is just too big to fit in any of my existing boxes throughout my home. I had to find an outlet in the garage that would be marginally useful to have one of these installed, with a different box that could hold the receptacle and wiring. After finding a location, I was able to install the outlet quickly. The tamper proof outlet is nice to have for safety, and all the USB ports work as they should.

[Rewarded Review] Another Great Faith Product

I have other Faith electrical outlets, some with USB outlets, some without. This is the first one I've had that has both USB-A and USB-C outlets, as well as the normal 15 amp 110 volt A/C outlets. This is an end-of-run outlet; there is only one screw for line, neutral, and ground, so no daisy chaining of these. Not a problem for me, but just be aware. Otherwise, it's easily installed, no surprises, nothing odd. Recommended!

[Rewarded Review] Nice but larger

Great accessory to fit more devices on one location and make it much cleaner. Haveing the usb 2.0 and usb-c input makes it much easier to avoid using multiple power blocks and making the other outlets unaccessible. The unit itself is rather large though, otherwise I'd give it 5 starts. You need to ensure the outlet box you are unatalling it in is deep otherwise you'll run in to real space issues. The accompanying face plate is a nice addition for this space saver, if you have space in your box. If using new or old work boxes, ensure you have adequate space.

The Faith 6-amp 3 port outlet allows me to charge via the 1 USB, and 2 USB-C ports. I have installed several of these around my home to allow easy access anytime we need to charge our smart devices. The convenience of having one behind my couch, one on the back of my counter, in addition to in my office, and the outlet behind my nightstand. I cannot begin to tell you how much this has helped. Installation is as easy as replacing any standard outlet. If you are unsure of working with electricity, first make sure that you turn off the power at the breaker box. If you are still unsure then you should hire a licensed handy man or electrician.

6A charging from all 3 ports!

Decided to invest in a usb outlet in my office since I started wfh. Rather than having to use multiple cubes, I now am able to have less of a birds nest near my outlet. I decided to test the amperage of each usb and they deliver the same amperage as advertised. Will order more for the rest of my house.

hard to find screwless wallplate usb outlets

i had a hard time finding screwless usb outlets for a reno job then stumbled on these. now my family doesn't have to fight (as much) about who gets to charge in the family room! =P

[Rewarded Review] Awesome Receptacle for USB C and A

Great all around receptacle for people who have both USB C and A devices. Make sure to turn off your power at the breaker level before starting! Everything worked as intended on the first try. The guide for wire stripping on the back of the receptacle was helpful. Instructions were clear although I didn't need them because I was replacing an existing receptacle. The receptacle can be wired by either wrapping the wire around the screw or by push in. Overall I would recommend and would buy again.

[Rewarded Review] Up to date USB wall outlet

Well built and stylish outlet. Up to date with a pair of "C" charging ports capable of 30 watts, 6 amps, total power. More than enough to charge two or three devices at the same time. All that and still two regular AC outlets. I read a number of reviews before ordering this one and I was struck by the number of reviewers commenting on the difficulty making the wire connections. I found two options that will work for one or two wires on each terminal. Either wrapping a hook around the screw for a single wire or using the strip gauge on the back of the outlet to measure the bare conductor on a pair of wires landed under the wire clamp. I would recommend this outlet to a friend.

[Rewarded Review] Faith Tamper-resistant 15 amp 3-usb & duplex receptacle

Nice USB/120 volt socket outlet. The package comes with the receptacle and two screws to screw it into the traditional metal/plastic junction box. Be aware that this does not include the face plate. I put a different color faceplate for the pictures to make this clear. They did not make a mistake in color, they didn't include it. This unit doesn't have the regular socket screws for each side. I expected two screws. One for the power line, one for a daisy to the next outlet. The socket I wanted to use is the first in a chain. So I used a couple of WAGO blocks and some wire to make a pigtail to this unit. I know some electricians like to use a WAGO to even regular sockets. I prefer the old style.

[Rewarded Review] Easy Outlet Swap

I got this outlet to replace a standard outlet in our home. I liked how this outlet has 3 different options for power. The majority of electronics we own are now being charged with USB-C chargers, however, we still have a few older electronics that require the older USB-A style outlet. With this outlet, there are plenty of ports to connect to. Installation was super easy and took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. I will likely get a few more of these outlets to put in other locations.

[Rewarded Review] Convenient

Installed without difficulty, although the user should be aware it is a fairly large "block" that could give you some difficulty in a small or crowded electrical box. In general it works fine and it is certainly convenient to have the USB charging ports right on a receptacle. There's one type A and two of the newer type C's. The A port is rated at 5V, 2A while the C ports are 5V, 3A. My only reason for rating it 4 instead of 5 was apparent slower charging from the A port. My Android phone reported a time to recharge about 20% longer than from the C ports or other A ports in my home.
