Beautiful tiled ceiling

Kanopi has beautified my home with their slick coffer-style suspended ceiling tiles! I plan on purchasing another batch when I'm ready to finish more area in my basement. The drop ceiling parts and tiles came quickly and efficiently. A local expert, recommended by Kanopi, hung them perfectly. Very happy.

There was alot of shipping damage. I have used the exact product 15 years ago. The tiles seemed softer and which resulted in crumbling when trimmed

Tiles look great but they are so fragile. They literally get scratched just trying to slide them into the grid. Cutting them not the easiest. Had about a case of waste due to damage. Much better look than outdated drop ceiling tiles but they are not the easiest to work with.

The look is beautiful. It is more upscale and decorative than a flat acoustical tile.

Edges extremely fragile. Several were damaged during shipment but luckily we were able to use the undamaged side along the outer edges of the rooms where a full tile was not needed.

When the tiles were delivered, 6 cases had to be returned out of 18. Damaged during delivery. Alot of the other tiles were damaged but were able to use. Poorly packaged, boxes were bigger than the cases inside. Federal Express during delivery had a lot of the boxes on the side damaging the finish edges. No protection. The new order another case had to be returned from delivery. Would not order again due to the amount of lost time and orders were delayed. For three days I was told they were being delivered that day, never happened. Waited on a Sunday on jobsite for 6 hours, told both by Home Depot and Fedex they were on the way. Didn't get delivered until Tuesday afternoon.

Not your average ceiling tile.

I have used this in my basement recreation room for 16 years now. I love how they look and they are easy to replace if they need to be. Unfortunately, I had a leak from the kitchen above so I recently had to change seven of them. But it was easy to do.

Fragile and not ideal finish

I’m an experienced acoustical ceiling installer, and these tiles are not user-friendly… Super fragile and not painted well… If you don’t have experience with recessed ceiling tiles, I would not recommend these.. I don’t write reviews very often, but I’m seriously disappointed with this product for the money
