Worth it

Recently, we decided to get some air purifiers to help with our allergies and my daughters, constant winter cough. After just a few hours of placing this in my bedroom, I noticed a huge difference in the air. We have several pets and with small kids our house tends to get dusty very quickly. I have now had the air purifier running for two full weeks and I can say that the room is significantly Cleaner than it was before. We are looking forward to purchasing additional units for my kids bedrooms and eventually our main living space as well.

It doesnt work for second hand cigarette smoke

This was really good before I had a smoker living in the house. It was actually surprisingly awesome. So if you just have maybe pet dander and just general air cleaning this is very good. But if you are looking for something to prevent second hand smoke this isn't it. I have a smoker who is in the room next to me. It's granted I guess the smoke is coming from the vents and there isnt a intake at the top but it isnt doing anything but running up my electric bill due to the smoke.
