Our new HomeLabs dehumidifier is

Our new HomeLabs dehumidifier is so much quieter than the old Kenmore it replaced--and is more energy efficient, a second plus. This is our third HomeLabs dehumidifier, all of which are quiet and efficient in different parts of our home. A third plus is that the air filters are so easy to take off and wash and replace. Three thumbs up for HomeLabs dehumidifiers.

Good enough I got a second one

I got the smaller version in 2018 for my basement work room. It's still going strong, but I wanted the bigger model for the rest of my basement. I hooked both up to a hose draining directly to my sump pump. Prior to that I had to empty them twice a day. It's amazing how much water it pulls out of the air! Good quality, sleek look, and not too loud.

2 fails inside of 2 years

First one worked 8 months before it dumped it's charge of r410 into my basement from a coil leak. Second one worked 6 months then found it overheated and running with a frapped out display. Unplugged for a day. Plugged back in and compressor runs but it's out of r410 now too. That's more refrigerant my family got to breathe in while we slept. Think i learned my lesson now

They don't last

I purchased my first one on Amazon on 12/2020. That one lasted about a year and a half. Warranty replacement was easy and they shipped me a replacement. The replacement just stopped working and of course it is no longer under warranty. I would hope it would last more that 2 years. Very disappointing. I'm going to try a different brand.

It works a it advertise!

I even didn't trust its humidity sensor and so added more sensors in different rooms/bathrooms in the apartment. the number that shown on the humidifier is the same as the other 3rd party sensors and the good thing is that I have almost the same number all across my kitchen, bathrooms and rooms. It is a 2bad 2 bed 1100sqf unit. Before start using the device I had a humidity about 65%~70% (welcome to Miami!), now I have control over the humidity and set it to be around 50% which is ideal.

Excellent product

I bought this dehumidifier for a 500 square foot studio apartment. It's incredible! It brings the humidity to a comfortable level in about 15 min. I could have probably gone with a smaller model but I didn't want to take any chances. The only down side for using it in a living space is that it's super loud. Very high quality product though!

We have been suffering with massive humidity in our home (Florida). We spent over $1800 on new thermostats and coils and nothing removed it! We purchased hOmeLabs 35 Pint and within 24 hours removed 2 gallons of water retrieved by dehumidifier!! This continued on "turbo" for 2days and kept emptying 2 gallons. We then switched to "comfort" and it did its job! Removing more humidity. After 4 days.. we are now finally at the perfect level and only running the hOmeLabs when needed until we find the source of our problem. Our A/C is finally running normal and home humidity is finally under 55% (where is used to he at 89%)!!

Very good choice for a dehumidifier

Very pleased with the dehumidifier. Function options are nicely displayed. Like the 'comfort' selector that will automatically set the humidity level based on the temperature. Very quiet operation which is important. Only issue is the water bucket. Catches just fine but a bit tricky to remove and replace and more so to empty without splashing about. But once figured out, all good.

So Far, So Good.

This is my second purchase of a dehumidifier in about a two month span. Another brand stopped working after about 4 weeks and after a bit of research, I settled on homeLabs. Delivery was FAST. I followed the instructions to set it upright for 24 hours before using, and since then, my basement has gone from feeling like a tropical rainforest to cool and dry. I was impressed with how quickly it pulled the moisture out of the air and how well it maintains it. It is a bit loud, but being it's in the basement and will likely be permanently in the storage room, this doesn't bother me. Let's hope this unit lasts far longer than my purchase from the other brand.

Five star all the way!!

I definitely am feeling better about choosing this brand rather than the more advertised brands. I researched on-line dehumidifiers and “hOmeLabs” always beat out the well known brands. With its high score reviews I went with hOmeLabs and so glad I did! Energy Star efficient also!

started freezing up before 2 years. Pump stopped working after 15 months

The unit worked well for about a year. It brought the humidity level down in our basement. Then the pump stopped working. I tried to trouble shoot but nothing seemed to help. I then attached a hose and let it drain to gravity. Last month (Aug 2023) the unit developed ice on the grill. I reviewed the manual and went to the website for answers. I tried googling this issue to no avail. I reached out to Homelabs Customer Service (via email). They got back to me in about a week stating there was nothing they could do since the warranty was no longer in effect (1 year warranty and we purchased the unit 21 months ago). They offered me a 20% off a new unit. I am disappointed that this dehumidifier did not last longer than 21 months.

Went to Orange Beach and

Went to Orange Beach and they had the 50pint dehumidifier in the room. We thought if this does this near the beach what would it do in our house in Central Louisiana where we live. I ordered the 35pint and was a real eye-opener of the humidity that was in our home and just didn't realize it. I empty it in the morning and at night. We've had it for 2 wks and love it and thinking of all that moisture we were breathing in and helps on my significant others allergies. I wish I would have seen this offer before I ordered the 50pint. We loved the 35pint so much that I ordered the 50pint dehumidifier. I would recommend the dehumidifier. The water we collect from the dehumidifier we water our flowers and our solar water fountain and frog that spits water out of it's mouth. Just recycling the water and it's better than paying for city water. Buy the dehumidifier and hope you enjoy it as much as we have the past 2wks and healthy benefits from the dehumidifier. We are going to put the 50pint at the other end of the house where the 35 pint is. You won't be disappointed with your purchase.

Efficient and Quiet for a dehumidifier

I bought this to use in my little cabin (about 300 square feet of floor space) heated by a gas furnace wall LP. Its been well below zero so the oven works most of the time creating a lot of water on the windows, so the amount of water that was running out of the windows to the ground. A receiving this unit stayed overnight on the same day and in the morning there were about two gallons of water in the tank, a total of about 16 hours of use and only a very small amount of moisture at the bottom of some windows, even though it is a small cabin with eight windows and two doors. I have no trouble sleeping with the sound of the dehumidifier that left in "constant" in fact, it is not noisy at all, even in the "turbo" mode. Led humidity fluctuates between 30-45 without sling psychrometer or other precise instrument is difficult to measure moisture. The unit can be set to automatically turn on / off when a reference level of moisture is reached, but for my current use have not used that function. I bought this unit 6 gallons above 4 per gallon because it was less money at the time, I think it was just luck on my part, I would assume 4 gallons works just as well. The dehumidifier is constructed to take up little floor space, using the built-in handles roller unit easily on hard floors and carpets indoor / outdoor, and extracts the water tank and re-inserts easily.

It works great!

So I've had this for about a month, I think, and I love it! I actually like more than I did at the beginning, because I've gotten used to it. For starters, I am very sensitive to light and sound, so I love that I can turn off the display of the clock at night, and alarm tones are optional. (After years of covering my digital ;! This feels heavenly screens with a cloth, just to sleep and wake up stressed because my alarm tone) Because of my sensitivity to light, I had to set the alarm an hour later at the beginning, because I woke up as soon as the light went on, rather than once he had reached the maximum brightness. So I set the alarm 30 minutes later and to take it away from me. This worked perfect for a couple of weeks. However, I began to face more and more to me when I began to wake more and more towards the end of the range of light. This morning, I woke up a few minutes to spare, and turned to me completely. (I did get less sleep the night before, but that did not matter earlier.) If this continues, the alarm can be reset to a previous state. I think my body just had to adjust, and now that he has, he will not wake up as soon as the on.Pros bursts of light: I love waking up with the feeling that the sun is so far not panic, the I thought I fell asleep I'm wide awake, not stunned when wake.I feel calm when I awake, and happy to get up.No digital display for cover Cons: !! I wish the light was maintained until the off, maybe he does and so far I have not read the manual? I would like the light began in a lower position, or can also be programmed, but okay, because the clock can be turned only slightly away.Tips:Make sure you know how it works before installing it for 4:30 am ! (That was a stressful morning and could not find a way to turn it off!) Try it out on a morning do not have to get up early, but does not establish that during 4 AM! Play around with the placement of the sphere of the watch, especially if you are sensitive to light and time itself stimuli.Give to adapt to this form of waking. If you think you will go back to sleep, turn off the light clock on. (I have a nearby lamp with dim light I turn as I wake up, because I've fallen back asleep once the warning light went off. I have also just turned the alarm, and the light of the clock.)

Great for basements

I received the model of 0.9 cubic feet. I have tried and researched other brands. "Home" is very serious about its brand.PROS: a shipping Iz was amazing but now I see that it is no longer paramount. It was attractive for a large appliance.â instructions are not in cryptic Iz Chinglish. Important for the understanding of this dangerous water / electricity appliance.â Iz is better to carry only the smaller version. The wheels are unintuitive.â IZ was no secret mold of a machine secretly reformed. Smells fresh plastic.â Iz controls are clearly Englishâ € "God bless the Queen.â Iz machine that looks beautiful. IZ professional stickers.â Cables and tubes are very organized.â IZ warranty 2 years. "We love you" stickers to call if you are a maiden.â irked Iz 0.9 cubic magically dry clothing brands compared to other, higher portable washing machines. Even the towels one drop does not drain when finished. Try it.CONS: Iz The wheels did scratch the floor of my little scripts because they have sharp in the center of the wheels. Really? Without a groove IZ softener but OK. I do not live in the Manual mode eighties.â Iz is not easier in the instructionsOverall, 0.9 cubic has given me the greatest success despite being the smallest. With these small machines, the smaller the more balanced: danger less water, rinse water (for better air drying), portability. While it is fully automatic, multi-medium loads does not bother me once it is ready for laundry day at home ... :)

dehumidifier very powerful and effective

We ask this machine to wash clothes after our newborn arrived (in New York, just when he began COVID .... did not want to leave the house). It helped me a lot not to have to go down to the laundry building every other day. The machine is wonderful! Once you're hooked and well balanced that works very well and is not too loud. Be careful to make sure it is level and does not put a burden that is too heavy or will unbalance the unit - then you shake during spin cycles. Otherwise, the LED display is easy to use and customize your wash if you want ... I mostly use the normal wash.Unfortunately preprogrammed, shortly after receiving the unit of a small ball bearing fell hose union that is connected to the sink faucet. Because of this often protruding hose faucet and suddenly high voice during washing, spilling water everywhere. We have lived with it for a while and it was a huge hassle. My mistake, I did not remember about the warranty! I came into contact with an agent via chat and they sent a new unit! I am very happy with the product and service to the customer, can not recommend more than one when you need to get small washes done.FYI the manual says to use only cold water but I have used warm water and it worked out fine. This was a concern when I was purchasing. Also, the discharge hose is longer than the water hose, which is only about 3-4 feet. Make sure you have enough space close to your faucet to put this unit. As you can see in my picture it is right in front of my sink, where it remains. We have become accustomed to it, but it's not ideal. There are wheels to move but who wants to do that every day.

Auto power off is in fact in this dehumidifier

I bought this with the monitor Pro AcuRite 01083M. the Acurite was used as the instrument for reporting the baseline because the humidity actually had 3 humidistat (the AcuRite, one in the humidifier itself, and in our Ecobee3) The ECOBEE 3 separated by up to 09.08 % of Acurite .The Acurite and dehumidifier were closer (within 1-2%) the dehumidifier was placed along the wall of the main living space open, covering about 1000-1200 square feet. The AcuRite was placed in the middle of the dehumidifier room. The works very well and do not consume a significant amount of moisture out of the water, we saw the Acurite an almost immediate effect of the fall of about 60% moisture is recorded to about 52 % within a few hours. The Cube was probably half full when I checked on him after running about 4-5 hours. So in short, it works very well in drawing moisture. However, I noticed me humidistat seems to fluctuate a bit, we would like to see hit the target mark 50% humidity and shut down. But then, while the AcuRite remain at 52% level, we would see the dehumidifier rise to 55% in a matter of minutes off, then kick back. I can put the Acurite on top of the dehumidifier and would not regsiter fluctuations like this. All this to say, the unit may turn on and off quite frequently based on the fluctuation of humidistat. So while the unit does a great work of reducing moisture levels, there are some things to note: 1) The humidistat fluctuating (which could be the only running on it, but that's why we had an external instrument to check against) 2) the unit is almost as strong as a portable air conditioner, so it's going to be noticeable and has like background noise3) the dehumidified air is warm so take into account when it comes to managing temperature levels at home.

Attention to the customer for a unit that stopped working

I bought this air purifier in July 2020 and used it to improve the quality of the air and I was supposed to protect against viruses at work in my office, but now question the effectiveness of the air purifier. If you notice you will see that there is no independent certification on the Amazon website for air purifier home. The only reference is UL approved, which has nothing to do with the purification of the air. website published today information USA Today about HEPA filters and said that if you want to check that the filter is certified to go to the following website: The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM), which purifiers certifies air under the title certification: AHAM verified. There are pages air purifier machines currently certified by this association, many available for sale on Amazon. Unfortunately, I could not find any evidence of this brand model house I bought for about $ 80 and I've been using since July 2020 on the site certification. Without this certification that the consumer does not know that you are getting a machine that does what it says to do in terms of protecting air virus / clean. Either the company will respond to this note with some kind of certification information or'll have to ask for another brand that is certified. Again, I will be in the future only buy air purifiers that are certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM).

Overall, this dishwasher is what I expected: Compact (filling is a game of Tetris dish) but functional. Actually clean better than expected, but it may be challenging to arrange dishes so that the jets reach all. Eventually, you'll probably learn what arrangements work best for your dishes. Anything larger than a small dinner plate does not fit, so we still have to hand wash the dinner plates, pots, pans, boats etc.it in quite resistant packaging (practically a box), but still was dented on arrival and the basket was broken utensil, fortunately, the seller offered a partial refund. It also has some unique design elements, such as a detergent door catches in the utensil basket so they can not be opened fully. It seems to work well with detergent liquid, but probably not work with tabs or pods as they never leave the compartment. The detergent also works fast connection to connect to a tap of the sink, but I chose semipermanent Plumb in place to you can use a faucet spray usual and exit the sink while the machine is running. This was a challenge because the dishwasher and uses pipe fittings connecting non-standard metrics fast, and these are not published anywhere.
