it's not strong so I would not place any heavy objects on it. While attempting to set it up, it literally snapped in half. Waiting for someone to reply to me for a replacement. I'm hoping I just received a faulty one because it fits my bathroom perfectly.

Easy Assembly

The instructions are just a diagram, but the pieces are numbered and the assembly process was extremely easy. Used a drill, took maybe 30 minutes. However, 2 of the small insert nuts were not machined properly, screws won't go in them; and I have contacted seller to get replacement pieces. A little surprised there weren't a few extras for those. Other than not being able to use top shelf yet, it works great for books, but not terribly sturdy, not sure how heavy I'll load it up. Probably about as good as you can get with this design, first one I've had. I saw a few people complain about not having screw covers, but I actually like that look. Looks a little industrial. Nice looking shelf. If I am not able to get those replacement pieces I will add to this review, they are a specific type of nut I'd have a hard time finding them I imagine. UPDATE: seller responded within a day, offering to send replacement parts when available and refund me a few $$ for my trouble, or for me to purchase them myself, with a larger refund. I'm totally satisfied with that, good customer service.

Do not buy this. They look cute but the quality is horrible. I unfortunately did not open the box for several months after I received of I would have returned. The wood (particle board) split in several different places where inserting the screws. It's a shame because it was exactly what I was looking for.

Beautiful tall shelf

1st...I haven't doctored my pics and I look for reviews with unstaged pics. I love this shelf. So pretty against my white wall with sconce above. Slightly ricketty so no extremely heavy items. There is only one situation, when it is leaning against the wall and you walk by it squeaks a little. Solution: non-slip furniture pads trimmed to fit. See pics attached.

So cute! This is exactly what we were looking for! It fits pretty snugly against the wall. It is really sturdy and easy to put together. That being said, we accidentally put the shelves on upside down the first time. It only took us about 15 minutes to put them all back on the right way though. So very easy to set up and take down with two people.

What a great find and great price on the ladder bookcases! I got two for my guest room that go on either side of a wall TV. So thrilled with my purchase! They exceeded expectations. I expected flimsy material at this price point but nothing is flimsy or unstable about this. I couldn't be happier with the white ladder shelves. They are sturdy strong and great for my guest room space!
