GE 6 Plug

Item works well. You can make it permanent or just plug it in. Would buy again.

The GE 6 outlet pro worked exactly as I hoped. We mounted a tv on the wall but didn’t want unsightly wires so had electrician put an outlet behind tv but had a few more things to plug in. This was perfect! Gave us a few more options while providing surge protection, win-win. Love the indicator light providing assurance it’s working.

I bought two of these and have had them for four months. They started causing me electrical problems, and it took me ages to realize they were the issue. Finally we were having really major issues, like I couldn't use my microwave or window unit (none of which were plugged into these), and all of my lights were flickering. Finally a breaker blew, and it was one that had one of these plugs. When I flipped the breaker back on this one popped really loud, so I flipped it back off, unplugged this, flipped it back on, and suddenly everything was working just fine again. We decided to unplug the other one, and that's when we realized that both lamps on that plug have been somewhat dimmer. Once we plugged them into a power strip they're at their full brightness. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend these.

It Is Very Nice!

Looks really nice. Seems to work well. There might be too much blue light for a bedroom. Studies have shown that blue light is not good for us when we sleep. Red is least harmful, but total darkness is best. Do NOT use it as a "nightlight" for kids! A long screw holds it securely in the socket. I like that. Just do not use it where people sleep!

I used this for my office. It was better than the typical power strips with surge protection in that it kept the plugs from laying on the floor.

Easy to install, looks good, and the screw stabilizes the surge protector quite nicely. The outlet slots are very tight, difficult to plug things in. (Hopefully also difficult for the plugs to become dislodged.) As others have noted, when using with tech devices with non-standard plugs, you’re not going to be able to use all of the outlets.

I really like it! It is a great item. I use it in my bedroom. It doesn’t take a lot of space and I have several items plugged in. The price is right.

Couldn't get blue light to come on

Had to return couldn't get the blue light to come on to say it was protected. Liked the 6 outlets.
