The paper plates individually are rather flimsy. But the plate diameter and raised edge is great for most of my needs. They fit in my microwave and hold up fairly well to being heated along with my food items.

The paper plates are fine. I just assumed that if I paid a higher price, then the plates would be sturdier and thicker than the competition. Not so.
