Warranty does not include Labour

Purchased Mar 2024. Worked beautifully until last week. Daily use. Seems well designed. But the chair stuck midway up, makes loud clicks that shake the entire chair. Wellwise says that I have to pay for the service, only parts are warranted. $100 just to walk in the door.

I would definitely purchase thisagain

My husband bought this for me when I was waiting for a knee replacement . I was in My early 60s so you don't have to be really old to enjoy the benefits . One suggestion ... I have a large soaking tub and it does mean I sit with my knees crossed or bent BUT I AM ENJOYING A BATH 3 OR 4 TIMES A WEEK thank you !

Every Sr. needs one of these!

I bought this to assist with me grandmother-inlaw once she started having mobility issues. It is a game changer. I wish I had found this beofre my grandparents passed as it would have drastically improved their quality of life near the end. Every sr who sees this lift asks where I got it. This is a MUST have for all sr.s. Ours came with a faulty seat cover, The company quickly responded and sent me a replacement cover. Great product!

Bellaire bath lift.

Strong motor, seating feels secure. Supports person in upright position, back starts to tilt after seat is fully down, returning to the upright position as it starts to lift. Strong steady lifting power. Giving up to six uses between recharging. I recharge every three to four uses. Easy to set up and easy to keep clean.

Great

I bought this for my 96 year old mom. Who cannot walk. This was a lifesaver. I open the wings on the lift and let one just sit on the rim or side of the bathtub. Mom just sits on the side, it will hold her cause it's resting on the bathtub. Then I just move her two legs in over the tub then she just slides across until she is on the lift.I lower her into the bath . Then do the same when getting her out. This has made life so easy bathing her.

Buyer beware

After opening the box and placing the lift in the tub to see if it could be used by my 89 year old mother we found that her access to the tub was restricted by the size of the bath lift and was of no use to her. We decided to return the lift only to find out that once the box was opened there were no returns on the lift , as it was unused and received not wrapped and with out instructions we are now stuck with a $1000.00 lift we cannot return . The lift seemed to be of use if the tub was hugely oversized!!!!

Very Tiring

Being raised down and up on the lift is lovely, but Bath Lift takes up too much room in tub. With toilet so close to the tub, I find that I have to climb over lift while hanging on to bar at back of tub in order to sit and then lower lift, Getting out is worse - I have to stand up in tub, lift left leg high enough to step out of tub backwards, and over to step on bath mat - while hanging onto bar at the back side of the tub. After accomplishing that I then can reach for bar at back end of the tub and finally get right leg out of tub. By the time I accomplish this, I'm a nervous wreck and have to lay down.

Life changing product!

We just used the Bellavita Bathlift for the first time this morning, for my Dad. Wow!!! He loves it and so do I. It made his bathtime so relaxing, comfortable and easy! It fit perfectly in my parent's bathtub, which is 20 years old. It is compact and lightweight. I can't imagine ever giving my Dad a bath again, without it! I highly recommend it!

Hindsight is a fine science. Works but not ideal.

I expect all makes of such seats will have the same problem. It is not possible to lie down in the water without my chest and stomach being out of water. I am not fat. Buying bungs for the overflow now... Leaving the top holes alone so as not to get an overflow of water. I inderstand that the seat must have some bulk. Now I know what I should have bought. Hindsight is a fine science

German engineering at its finest.

You get what you pay for. This chair lift is superbly engineered and manufactured. This is a better solution than a walk-in tub. No modifications to the tub area required. My wife is able to use this chair without any help. The chair lowers her completely into the water for a warm, relaxing bath.

Couldn't have had a bath without it. Life saver.

Very easy to assemble and install. Folds to just an inch or two, so you can get a decent volume of water over you and a reasonable soak. Can be removed in minutes when someone else wants a bath but doesn't need it. Easily transportable if you need to take it with you anywhere.

Love it!

Fed up with using a walk in shower for many years because I could not physically get in a bath, with my mobility issues worsening I was desperate for a soak in a bath, this does not disappoint. It is easily & quickly set up, having purchased the transfer slide as well I was soon soaking my painful joints in comfort. It transports you safely down in to the water, I particularly love the reclining back, pure bliss. I can't praise it enough. One note of caution, our bath is shorter in length than some others, so not a lot of leg room to stretch out if your bath is the same, not too bad if you are under 5 foot 5 like myself. Well worth purchase price.

Fantastic bath lift.

This bath lift is one of the best purchases I have made. I have a very narrow bath due to space, and was finding it difficult to get out of the bath, hence I have showered for the past year. The lift is very well made, easy to put together, very safe and compact. I love everything about it ,only wish I had purchased it sooner. It is delightful to be able to bath without any fears of getting stuck. I would highly recommend this product.

Back to Baths

After not being able to take baths for over a year due to two hip revisions, it is wonderful to be able to get in and out of the tub with no assistance. My husband had no trouble assembling the lift. It is easy for me to get in and out of the tub and it is wonderful to be able to relax in the tub again. The lift is easy to keep clean. We are so happy that we opted for a lift rather than redoing the bathroom with a walk-in tub. Both my husband and myself found the reviews to be very helpful in making our decision.

Wonderful!!

I have had both knees replaced and not able to squat. But I can still get in and out of the tub with my husbands help. I couldn't get onto the chair and turn and put my legs in like the infomercial showed because of the corner faucet. And thankfully I have a 6 ft tub! With the space that the chair takes I have just enough room to maneuver. And when I was in the tub the flaps that folded up were in the way of my arms so my husband simply slid them off. Great design that worked for me. The reclining back is great too! I have a jacuzzi tub so i can't get the use of the 2 jets in the back though. I really would have needed just the seat part but I know that the power source and battery are in the back part of the chair. Overall I am very very happy with this purchase! I am back in the water and loving it!!

Buyer Beware!

Progress Mobility is not truthful when chatting online or when talking to them on the phone. I chatted with David before ordering a bath lift on Nov. 11, 2016 for my 86 year old Mom who had recently undergone hip replacement. I probably asked 25 or more questions to insure that I was getting exactly what she needed. The one question I failed to ask was what the return policy was. I was going by the website banner on several pages that stated 100% guarantee and 110% guarantee on price. David stated this at least twice to me that the product was guaranteed. Then, when the product arrived and we realized that it would not work in her tub, Progress Mobility refuses to take it back because it is considered a "hygiene product". David had ample opportunity to tell me this during the chat session before ordering. This is deceptive and unethical! After the fact, I had to search and search the website for the return policy. It is buried in the "Terms of Service". Now my mother, age 86, who is on a fixed income and having health issues, is out $565.00. If Progress Mobility has any compassion or concern for their customers, they would refund her money and take the product back. Other than taking the bath lift out of the box and setting in the tub to determine that it didn't fit, it has not been touched. Please do your homework before buying from this company! Multiple attempts to get a refund have failed. I will never recommend or buy from this company. David could have stated to me that this product could not be returned. Instead, he kept assuring me that it was 100% guaranteed! I am sick at heart for my mother.

George Deavor Wickenburg, Az.

The chair work great for my wife and I being the operator of the chair. The height of the chair in the tub is extremely low in the water at the lowest point of the chair. The operation is extremely easy to use due to the controls and their color and placement. There is a sound of a beep when going up or down.
