The lights are specifically designed for sloped ceilings so the light can cast straight down but the mechanism inside the fixture is very cheap and difficult/impossible to get to stay in place once installed. They could improve this product in two ways , 1. Use better components to hold light at proper angle, 2. Include plastic grommet so the wires don't run the risk of being cut by sharp edges
