Lovely curtains

I purchased these in purple to go with the Madison Park "Palmer" comforter set (plum/gray) that I purchased from another store. The curtains match pretty well with it. They are a little shiny. Although they have a white backing, they are a little sheer. I have shades that drop down from the top and you can see the sunlight come through. These curtains do not come with tiebacks. I am happy with them.

I've ordered these curtains at least 5 times because they are so nice. They are great sun-blocking curtains and the colors are beautiful. Highly Recommend for that perfect pop of color in any space.

Very Nice Curtains

Very nice mordern look. Luv the rust and brown contrast. The only con is it could have been black out - a little thinner than I prefer. This in blackout would have been perfect. Other than that, they are really pretty. I found the perfect rust colored throw pillows from Overstock to match.

Beautiful curtains

They are a rich dark blue with bright white with a bit of shine to it. Not sheer but just enough light comes through. I wasn't sure about the two colors but I'm glad I ordered them. Really impress with the quality being they were very inexpensive. However I haven't washed them yet so I don't know if the colors will blend.

OMG, what more can I say These drapes are absolutely divine. My bedroom has gray walls and a darker gray carpet, with purple accents. These just finished off the look. The subtle shimmer gives them a very high end appearance. I wish I had more than one window to cover! They are that fantastic.

We are pleased with the fabric, color, and very fast shipping; however, there is one slight (or not so slight?) problem that was noted immediately!! The panels vary in length! AND - some of the panels aren't the same length across the width of that specific panel - as much as one inch! In this era, when such items are produced outside the U. S., this isn't surprising, but there ought to be better quality control! Unfortunately, these curtains are being used in a room with side-by-side windows - with very little furniture concealing them, and we hope that the varying lengths are not too obvious. The curtains are recommended, but don't expect them to have consistent lengths!!!

Loved the drapes but not the grommet color!

FINALLY I thought I found exactly what I wanted. But the grommets are bronze and not a nickel/silver as anticipated. To me, it appeared they were on the silver side.

Keep looking if you like quality.

I was so excited to get these curtains in the mail today. I immediately opened the package when I got home. I ironed them on low heat so that I could hang them up. As I was hanging them, I started to notice the poor quality. Womp womp... Words can't describe how disappointed I feel. Thread was literally hanging from the seams. The stitching was crooked. The red stitching ran into the brown part of the curtain. Yuck. It looks like a grade schooler sewed them. They're flimsy and have zero lining. I'll be returning them and perhaps spending a little bit more to get better quality.

Great Curtains for the money!

This was my second pair of these curtains that I have ordered.The first were the silver and black curtains for my college are daughter's bedroom. The second pair were rust and brown for my bedroom when we repainted. The rust was richer and warmer than in the picture on the website which was plus. You will have to iron the curtains but after that they are good to go. I bought 3 sets to fit one single window and one double window. They are a great compliment to the room. Nice curtains for a nice price.

MY MISTAKE ordering these....don't let it be yours

DISAPPOINTED. These are MUCH darker than the picture shows. The blue is not light blue, but more of a gawdy turquoise (yick) It really does not coordinate with the bed spread either. Furthermore, they look shoddy and cheap (even came with a small tear in one of the panels. ) We ordered these a while back to use in a new renovation project, and fear it is too late to send them back. AND too much trouble. DO NOT ORDER THESE!!!

Rust curtains - Grommets are brass color

I got rust /chocolate color, rust is real burnt orange color and chocolate is milk chocolate color. The grommets are brass with dark ring at the end and when hung look more dark in color. I have dark bronze curtain rod and these grommets blend in... no brass color noted. Another point, curtains are a bit shiny during day, but became rich flat color when lights are on. Curtains came folded and wrinkled and I washed them in cold water, but couldn't iron ( felt they would be damaged ) ... they remained wrinkled (yes, they are labeled DRY CLEAN ONLY) and I have to dry clean them... If grommets were different color I would give it 5 stars.

Great curtains, especially for the price!

I purchased the curtains for my college aged daughter's redecorated bedroom. The curtains are lined and the material adds a bit of elegance. It does not block out all sunlight but the material is by no means see through. It provides appropriate privacy for a bedroom. The curtains come folded I ironed them after reading the reviews of how hard the wrinkles were to remove, but the wrinkles ironed right out. The curtains hang well. The colors are consistent with the picture. They are very nice curtains and everyone was shocked by how little I paid for them. I was able to appropriately cover a single window and a double window for under a $100. Another great purchase from Overstock.com!

Beautiful, but not well made.

The color and fabric of these are definitely beautiful, but they are not well made. I had to turn them inside out and cut MANY threads, because they showed when the light shone through. Then, after ironing and hanging both panels, I discovered that one hung very crookedly. The lining had been caught in the wrong place when they were sewn, and the only way to straighten the panel was to remove all stitches and sew again. Fortunately, I am an experienced seamstress and could do this. Otherwise, I would have had to return both panels after painstakingly cutting threads and ironing them. I loved them so much that I was willing to do the work, but not everyone could do this.

Very Good value for the price

I ordered these for a bedroom with blue/brown/white bedding and tan wall paint. The color was exactly what the picture looks like and matched the bedding very well. I probably needed to order a set of 95" drapes because they are short for my window, even though I measured 84" up from my baseboard, I neglected to account for the grommets and my curtain rod being hung. The fabric has a nice antique satin appearance, however, even though they are lined, it is rather thin and light does penetrate through (which is the only reason why I did not rate them as 5 stars.) I have blinds in the window so that is no problem. The value is exceptional. I have grommet type windows in my other bedrooms and paid twice the price for ONE panel than I paid for these two. I am pleased with the look of these and would not hesitate to purchase more, albeit at a longer length. My room is 9 ft. high.

Great curtains for rooms with light!

These curtains work really well in my sitting room where I wanted to allow in light. The lining is thick enough to provide privacy but thin enough to let in sunlight even when they are closed. They definitely look better after being ironed so spend the time to iron them before hanging them up. They elevate the room with a classy yet modern feel. Love the ease of opening and closing them with the built in rings.

Perfect!

I ordered the chocolate/taupe for my dining room. As several others have mentioned, the "taupe" has a golden tone to it and has a slight sheen. They are lovely curtains. The lining is nice and although these are not blackout linings, they do block out a majority of the light. I have a window 78" wide and ordered 4 sets so that I had 8 panels for a very full look. I am ordering an additional set to make it even more full. The price of these curtains allows me to do that and not feel guilty! I do like my curtains to appear full and not skimpy looking. The fuller they are, the better light blockage also. They were wrinkled when they arrived but I popped them into the dryer on a wrinkle ease program and that took most of the wrinkles right out. The grommets on my curtains were an antique brass. I am very happy with these curtains.

What a difference in quality!!!

Last year, I bought 2 pairs of these curtains and was completely satisfied. Every detail was as advertised and well-done! This year, I decided to move those curtains to a different room of our home, one with 3 more windows than the original one. So, I was delighted when I found that the curtains were still in stock---same description and color codes.

Very nice curtains

These curtains are beautiful and I would recommend them if you like the look. I was worried they would be too thin b/c it appears you can see the window sill through them in the picture but I am pleased to say you cannot as they are nicely lined. I put mine in the dryer to allow the wrinkles to fall out and it held up wonderfully on high heat with no loose strings. However, they are to be washed dry clean only. The quality is very nice, they look and feel much more expensive than what they are priced and come nicely packaged. The grommets are strong and will hold up well for years to come. I bought these to go with the Maxwell comforter set and the blue matches perfectly. Also, they are all exactly the same length. I have had experiences in the past with much more expensive brands not matching up and these do not have that problem.

Another Satisfied Customer

These curtains are described very well in the ad. I'd been waiting months to purchase some curtains for a room that needed that finishing touch framed at the window. After checking stores and looking at products in person I'm surprised to find that purchasing curtains online ended up being the best choice and product that suited my taste. After reading the other reviews I was concerned about the "wrinkle" problem people kept describing. Really how could fabric be folded and wrapped in a package and not have wrinkles? If you have an iron with a steam setting us it and all the wrinkles come out immediately. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and will continue to shop with overstock since the product quality and price was much better than the local department stores and mall. The price for this pair of curtains was comparable to the price of a single panel at other stores. With the two tone color it seems to give a depth to my room that wasn't there with the curtains I previous had hanging. I highly recommend this item.

Nice looking, lined but thin

Bought these in the green/brown combination and I would say the photos and color description were accurate. The metal grommets have a nice quality look to them. As others have said, they are incredibly wrinkled coming out of the packages, and for me, the wet towels in the dryer method didn't work. It worked just a tiny bit. The ones I have hung on the sunny window have basically "unwrinkled" themselves with the daily heat but the ones hung on the shady side have not. This is an incredibly sunny location so unless you have one of those, I'd expect to iron/steam them.
