Cumberland Creek rectangular table

The table top has a beautiful classy wood pattern. It's very well built , heavy and sturdy making for many many years of use. The table is the perfect addition to our home. If you purchase this table as well you won't be disappointed!

I think this table is great! One of the best features of this table is the leaf. When the leaf is added, the table comfortably sits 6 people. It is substantial in weight. And the two colors of the table make it a dream to decorate your dining room.

Unfortunately, the table arrived with a few different imperfections. After consulting with customer service (starting with the wonderful Caspian), the problem was resolved with a brand new perfect table!

I’m having a hard time choosing how many stars to give. I love the color of this table, however the tabletop is starting to peel and chip, exposing the raw wood underneath. I only use baby wipes to clean the table, no harsh chemicals, so I don’t know what is causing it. I can tell that the part that is chipping and peeling away is starting to raise and warp underneath so it’s evident it’s going to continue peeling. Also, there are two spots that show fading. They are circular in shape and I have no idea what could have caused this. We put our coffee mugs and plates with warm food on the table, but that shouldn't cause fading as those are normal things you put on a kitchen table. They both showed up randomly many months apart. I don’t like that I paid so much for something that’s falling apart one year later. It’s as if there was no protective coat on top. I was so happy to get rid of the hand-me-down kitchen table we had used for 13 years that was like 40 years old, but that thing held up WAY better. UPDATE: I have discovered what is causing many imperfections to our table. As long as you don’t do these things it should hold up fine. *Don’t put a glass with condensation on top of a spot with a natural wood hole. The water will get underneath and cause a bubble. *Don’t put anything on the table that gets moist and hot. This includes paper plates holding warm food or even a hot glass bowl of soup with a baby wipe or napkin that could get wet underneath the bowl. Glass/ceramic bowl of hot food alone is fine, but if you put anything under it that could get wet, it will create a faded whitish circle. ***

We are happy with it!

I love the look of this table. We also bought matching chairs. It looks very nice in our home, and we get compliments on it. I like that it is on the narrower side. We keep the leaf in all the time, although my original plan was not to. I like the versatility in size. We do take good care of it and try to keep things on placemats so it doesn't get scratched. I do like this table for the money. It isn't the quality of a $**** set, but it works well and is very pretty for the price we paid.
