Very disappointed, pretty dish but it lacks safe food basics like a seal on the lid. The lid rattles around on top of a thin ceramic bottom. Great concept to have the bottom be a deep dish and the lid be on top but the materials, wood top and ceramic bottom are way too thin compared to the cost of the dish. Also concerned how the wood top will do in the fridge over time.
Very nice butter dish
This is a great butter dish. It keeps the mess inside the dish. I keep my butter on my counter top. It a perfect size and very stylish.

Got this for the Irish block butter I buy. Was a little nervous that it doesn’t have the plastic suction seal but it works perfectly and is very easy to clean (key in my house!).
