Really like this drink fountain. This is my 2nd one purchased. It's quiet and doesn't scare my dogs & cat. Nice product.

Not really happy

This fountain is very noisy! It sounds like we have a waterfall in the house. We have had the Pioneer plastic fountain for several years but it needed to be replaced as it was getting black mold in seams of the fountain. It is too bad because that is a quiet fountain, just not made that well. I wanted a ceramic to avoid mold and plastic issues, but I don’t know if this was right choice. The cats seem a little afraid of it. They still have their flower fountain which has held up very well and is well made with not seams that can grow mold.

Cleaning the pump is labor intensive

I've had the blue pagoda for over 5 years. It is really beautiful and sounds pretty. Cats love it, but I finally got so tired of cleaning it, we're back to bowls. They don't tell you about cleaning inside the filter, (have pipe cleaners on hand), and the black plastic sheds residue inside the pump, which doesn't seem healthy. I rinse it and change the water every other day and clean it thoroughly weekly. I think the charcoal filters are really not helpful since our drinking water is filtered, and the filter sheds more black stuff inside the pump as well. Yes, I soak the filter and rinse it thoroughly before use. It's a lot of work, pricey maintenance, but so pretty. Good luck! I wish someone would invent a stainless steel pump! The cats are peeing just as much since I changed back to bowls. I'll sell it on fb marketplace. Done with the mess.

What I expected

This is a great fountain. The other one we had for 5 yrs from this company was discontinued. All 3 of our cats took to it within 24 hours. Bubbles very nicely & the soft noise is very relaxing.

Great Fountain!

My cat loves this fountain! My original on broke (heavy pot fell on it) and this was a replacement. Glad they still have it! The other was 3 years old!

Very loud

Cats preferred their old gray ball fountain. Me too since it's in my master bathroom . It would keep me awake or make me want to void all night . then I just switched motors with the old one

My cats love the running fountain

PetSafe Drinkwell Pagoda Ceramic Dog & Cat Fountain is a good product. You have to clean it quite a bit if you have multiple cats. The motor had to be replaced 3 times, but I do have a large multiple cat home.

Seems that filter housing casing doesn't open

I am trying to open the filter housing case. I will need to buy a new one each time of use. Seems excessive. I opened it for the initial use. It doesn't open for its first cleaning. I have watched the YouTube videos. Very expensive for a one time use item!

Cat fountain

My kitties love this drinking fountain! This is my second Petsafe Drinking fountain and I would highly recommend this one. I have had other fountains that were less expensive, but if you are tired of those fountains tipping over and getting very dirty quickly, try this one. If you change the filter and clean on a regular basis, this will last forever!

Needs intensive cleaning routine

Aesthetically beautiful and my dog loves flowing water. However, this fountain required daily cleaning to prevent mold and weird frothing. And I mean disassembling everything and even cleaning the pump. I gave it up quickly because that doesn’t make sense in my life. I don’t think I would try any of these fountains again.

Kitty is obsessed with her pagoda

Our cat took to this fountain right away. She seems to really like drinking from the pedestal section since she is older and it looks like the most comfortable. She also likes licking the stream.

Drinkwell Pagoda fountain

I bought this to replace another Drinkwell product that I had for several years. The Pagoda fountain is well designed and easy to clean but my cat has not drunk from it as yet. She drinks from the sink but she won't drink from the fountain. I'm still working with her so I'll post another review when I see progress.

This is beautiful and my cat loves it. Cats have a natural instinct to seek out moving water because it’s less bacterial. This one is pretty and sounds like a little creek. She likes to drink from the top. On very hot days, I put a bunch of ice in the bottom of it so she gets cold water (like a river). I think this fountain improves the quality of her little furry life.

Great product but too loud for me

The fountain is functional, looks good, and is easy to clean. I’m generally a fan of PetSafe fountains, but this one was distractingly loud to me. If you don’t mind hearing water trickling 24/7, then you’d like this fountain. I ended up returning it.

Great water fountain

It has multiple options for cats. There is an elevated area for older cats and cascading water and the full bowl below to drink from. Multiple cats can drink at once. Mine love it and drink more water daily.

Pretty and Functional

The fountain is extremely easy to set up and works as expected. It is pretty to look at and the motor is quiet. The sound is of a tiny waterfall (much like the expensive running water decorations you can buy). Even without its functionality as a water bowl for my cat, I would enjoy the sound of the mini waterfall. When we first set it up, there was some charcoal from the filter. We emptied and refilled the tank and now it runs clear.

Nice Ceramic Cat Fountain

Product exactly as advertized. Quite heavy and obviously tip proof. Very easy to set up and maintain. Better quality than the last two fountains I bought (not Chewy). Now if I can just get our persnickety 18 year old Ragdoll male to use it.

Great fountain & Loud

I really like this fountain compared to the other one I have. The filter system is great. It is a loud fountain though. Animals use it and love it. I would recommend if you don't mind a loud running water sound.
