The ones I ordered are not like the originals. They were not distressed on the edges where the dark underneath clay shows, which it should. Two arrived with chips. My originals are 15 yrs old and have never chipped. Disappointed

I can't wait to get more of these, i actually have the authentic ones from Tchoupotoulis street in the French quarter, but i needed large amounts to entertain at the Harbor House. They are everything i could want, love them, bought the blue fancy plates to celebrate my new house but this set will always be a staple here. get them! The packing popcorn is made with Corn starch now, when it started to melt on my hands i asked an EMT Across the street bc i had never seen it before, no worries, it's more environmental friendly, but it will disintegrate. Work OUT of the heat with it and work fast, dump extra in your recycling can.

This set has chipped. I love anything with the Fleur de lis. I purchased with the intent to add additional pieces but NO! Waste of money
