Great look!

I used this model in another house and like it very much so I’m using it in my condo. The sink’s edges are wide enough to hold a glass, while the pedestal design looks airy and spacious in a small bathroom.

My purchase was 5 days late ! After I picked up the item at the store, whem the package was opened to check on the item, the box has a missing pedestal. I ordered the combo Kohler Memoirs Bat Sink, which should include the sink and the pedestal. I called Lowes, they wanted me to return and reorder !!??? Is a hassle to pick up this heavy item with a small SUV. Go figure !!!!

Finish will "craze" in short period of time.

purchased sink 15 years ago. Was beautiful for first two years then as it did for many reviewers before me, the glaze began to craze. It now looks terrible, even compared to the 50 year old sink I replaced with it. I notice that the Kohler response to one previous review complaining about this is to state that "many factors can contribute...". All of the factors they list are ones that a sink might be expected to endure, i.e, temperature or humidity changes, stresses from installation. Curiously none of that is mentioned in the sales description. This is not a cheap product even with the HD discount and somebody, HD &/or Kohler should be more up front about this "feature" of the sink. I have had great experiences with Kohler customer service regarding fixtures, but their response to this issue is to ignore my email. HD, as expected referred me to Kohler.

Run, do not walk away from this product

Total garbage. When you level the front of the basin from left to right, the front of the basin is level, but the back drops a 1/4". Same problem with front and back. It simply is a very low-quality mold. I have had good luck with Kohler in the past but will never buy one of their products again.

Very pleased. There were a few bad reviews with photos that showed severe hairline cracking, but that did not seem logical to me, or maybe one defective sink. We have had ours for a few months now and we love it, have received a lot of positive comments on it. My wife loves the fact that it is a little taller than the sink/vanity this replaced. I installed it and the installation was very straight forward.

This is an excellent fixture and well made. Kohler products are quality and last for generations.The height is perfect and the installation was simple to follow although I chose not to bolt the base and instead used Lexel to bond to the floor. This fixture enhanced the bathroom of a 1909 home. I appreciate Kolher's designers and their vision to create fixtures that are "period correct".

I bought the combo pedestal with the sink. I also bought the matching toilet and tank in the Memoirs set. It looks fantastic in my master bath renovation!!! I might purchase more Kohler Memoirs pieces for my other bathrooms and have them match throughout my house! I'm very happy mostly with the sink, it's beautiful! I also used Kohler hardware for the 8 inch center faucet and other matching hardware! I'm glad I did.

We installed this sink around 2002. I love the traditional design of the Memoir line. We are a two person home and are gone for half the year. About a year ago I noticed cracks/crazing starting to form in our upstairs pedestal basin. This is basically used for teeth brushing or shaving, nothing more rigorous. At the same time we also installed a Shaws pedestal sink downstairs, where more frequent use occurs. This remains flawless. In researching this issue, I am dismayed to find the frequency of the problem and Kohler's apparent lack of response. This is very disappointing and I would not recommend purchasing Kohler products, despite their beauty.

This is a classy small pedestal sink. It arrived on time and without any blemishes in our case and the install was trouble-free. It has one odd feature that isn't a huge deal but might bother some folks - once installed it gives the impression that the leading edge is slightly curved when viewed head-on, although this optical phenomenon does not occur when looking at the sink from the side. It's other features are fine including very nice level sides on which one could place bathroom objects or a wine glass for example without fear that they will slide into the sink. The bowl of the sink is nicely shaped and deep enough for most functions. We paired it with a Moen 4-inch center-set nickel satin faucet and it looks excellent.

[Rewarded Review] Just Beautiful!

This sink and matching pedestal are just beautiful. I received them via FedEx and they arrived in perfect condition, and were packaged well inside of the boxes. The height of the pedestal with the sink attached to it is just right. I really like the depth of the sink, and how wide it is. Finding a faucet for it was rather easy, I went for a vintage chrome look with the faucet that I chose, which goes very well with the overall look of the sink and pedestal. The products were very easy to set up with our existing plumbing. I love the bold white color too. The sink also comes with overflow drain holes, and the lines along the bottom of the sink and pedestal pop out and really complete the look. I also like the rectangular shape of the sink which makes it different. All in all, I am very satisfied with the sink and pedestal.

I purchased this sink in 2007 it started with a hairline crack inside the sink towards the back then on the top beginning 2011. This sink is very costly just to last 4 years. Called customer service and they stated there is only a 1 year warranty. Buyer beware that Kohler does honor their poor quality merchandise, so purchase at your own risk. A $400.00 sink should last, very dissatisfied!

A beautiful pedestal sink

The sink and stand was delivered in great condition. Packaging was above expectations. I tried buying this special order from a local plumbing store but that was a disaster. Homedepot.com made it so simple. Installation went well. Time will tell if I start seeing hairline cracks like other people have reported. I believe running very hot water then cold water will cause cracking. So using common sense is important. Many people think the cracks add character to the sink. The small cracks in no way causes any problems.

Junk product

The people praising this sink apparently have only recently installed them. They do look beautiful out of the box -- that's why I have one. Be aware, though, that in a few years you'll probably be pretty unhappy.
